We loved how warm and cozy our deluxe room was. The heated floor, the hot water kettle, and refrigerator were so convenient. The location of the room was perfect as well. We were able to see the northern lights from our room. The food and staff at the restaurant was exquisite. Sasha, in particular, was very kind. He opened up the restaurant for us since we got to the hotel early before check-in time, and we were able to have a delicious lunch (the cod sandwich with chips and salmon salad), and enjoy the quiet dining hall to ourselves while taking in the beautiful views of Husafell. We are very grateful for the excursion opportunities that were offered (into the glacier, lava cave, snowmobiling on top of Langjoküll, Barnafoss, etc). The staff there were amazing. Lastly, the geothermal baths right outside our hotel was lovely to have. We went twice and it was never crowded. Very relaxing, rejuvenating, and refreshing. Thank you for our stay. We'll see you again soon."
