Great peaceful location, ideal for couples

Posted 20 Jul 2013
Pros: Excellent for a peaceful holiday in a traditional Greek setting. Fantastic views! Very clean and well kept hotel.
Cons: All good, however a small welcome pack would be appreciated, ie Bottled water in the fridge etc.
Location: Excellent if you want peace and quiet, however it is a short taxi ride to Skopelos Town ( 7.5 Euros) for plenty of bars/restuarants/tavernas
We had a lovely 1 week stay at this accommodation. Jason and his staff were very attentive and made our holiday most enjoyable.

Excellent hospitality

Posted 8 Jun 2012 on Hotels
My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights whilst attending a wedding on Skopelos. Firstly i think calling the place a hotel is a bit strong, its more of a personal, beautiful, boutique guesthouse. The views from the room across the garden and over the bay were amazing and we were on the ground floor so i imagine on the top floor they were even better. The whole place was stunning and really well kept. Jason welcomed us and made us feel really at home by showing us around and down to the private beach! He gave us coffee and cake and just as he was telling us about the dolphins that sometimes appear in the bay we say a few swim by. He then helped us decide what to do and where to go, recommended restaurants and places of interest and even offered to pick us up or run us into Skopelos town which is about ten minutes away by car. There is a communal kitchen and and eating area separate from the house that's a great way to meet people but there are also a number of Tavernas within easy reach. If you want the standard, boring hotel experience - don't bother, but for a really welcoming enjoyable stay then i could thoroughly recommend the Mando Beachfront.

An excellent quiet place to stay

Jason and Mando his mother could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Decent sized room with a great sea view and an excellent bed. Buses to the main town 3.5 kilometres away are frequent in high season but out of high season consider renting a car.

We had a lovely stay at Mando Beach Front. The area was very quiet and beautiful, just the way we like it. The staff is very friendly and helpful and high quallity standard rooms. It is very easy to get around with the local bus or a rental car.

Best place to stay in Skopelos, superb hospitality

Posted 2 May 2013
Pros: Hospitality, cakes, garden, relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: None
Location: Great view, quiet, not too far from Skopelos town.
This really is a fantastic place for your stay on Skopelos. Mando Beachfront is located near Stafilos Beach and has a great view overlooking the sea. The room was very clean, beds were good and long enough for me (2m), garden is beautiful and perfectly maintained and the owners do everything possible to make you feel at home. At our arrival, we were welcomed by Mando, and during the week she baked very delicious sweets for us. Jason really helped us to explore the best of Skopelos and always quickly responded to e-mail. I think that both the location (quiet, but not far from Skopelos town) and the hospitality make this the best place to stay in Skopelos.
