"The villa was spotlessly clean, there were all the essentials we needed for a week and some extras that we hadn't thought of like a cool bag and ice blocks for the beach. The swimming pool is great, the showers are very clean and luxurious, both bedrooms have superking size beds. It is a ten min walk to the nearest village and a 3 mile drive to Matala beach which is an amazing place. Maria and Xenophon are brilliant hosts and left us some lovely breakfast items and a superb leaving gift."

"An amazing spot for the ultimate relaxing holiday. Apartment has everything needed for a relaxing getaway and the pool was an added bonus on the hotter days. The drive up can be a little daunting at first but it is absolutely worth it when you reach the terrace with views over the hills and mountains. The perfect spot to watch the sunrise and sunset. "We were the first booking for the season, so felt like we had a the whole place to ourselves. The property, and our villa, were incredible and the views out to the ocean were amazing. Loved our villa and was perfect size for our family. Appreciated the fresh fruit. Our host was there to greet us and communication throughout our entire stay was excellent. The property is beautiful, and it felt so relaxing to enjoy the sun in the Cretan hillside. Only wished we stayed longer!"

"The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years."
