Property is very outdated. My room had a very bad odor. Somebody had puked in the back stairwell and nobody cleaned it up while I was there. I only had three hand towels in my bathroom. When I went to the desk to get them, instead of handing me a couple of regular towels which were right there, the gentlemen said he’d bring them to my room. He followed me to my room and then handed them to me at my door. It was really weird… Breakfast was included but the fridge was empty (no milk or yogurt) so no cereal unless you eat it dry. The juice dispenser didn’t work either. I had my water bottle with me which was good because there was NOTHING to drink. On top of it, it was $98/night! I’d drive the extra 30 minutes and stay in Sioux Falls in a Marriott.

Ok stay, not a place for families.
Room was ok. Sheets had stains, ceiling in bathroom had water damage. Room was never cleaned during my 2 day stay. Office type chair provided in room was broken.
Breakfast was disappointing. Orange juice/apple juice machine didn't work, milk tasted expired, waffle maker consistently undercooked waffles. Side security door lock didn't work, anyone could have just walked into the building.

The room had a funky smell and the tub was unusable. Some type of mold or something in there. We got in pretty late so we weren’t gonna change hotels but with more time I probably would have. Lady at the front desk was nice though.

Close to a couple of locations that we wanted to check out in the Luverne, MN area. One good restaurant on Main Street in Luverne. Three or four more places to eat just north of I 90 on MN Hwy 75. Incredibly large collection of nutcrackers in the history center on Main Street.

Serveral things were in need of repair. Didn't feel very welcomed and the workers daughter was following us around any where we went. Sometimes she was being helpful, other times she was bossing us around like she worked there. The breakfast was good but we will pay more to stay at theother hotel in town next time!

We stay in the Luverne area quite often & the Econolodge works well for my employees. I booked 6 rooms for a 2 night stay. We were going to finish up the job a day early. I tried to cancel the 6 rooms for the 2nd night & the hotel was not cooperative. they were actually upset because I use expedia & not the hotel direct. I feel that the hotel could have worked with us somehow...a credit, a room credit, but they would have none of it. we will not ever stay there again!

This is a very rundown motel. I thought I save some money and booked this one, but that was a total mistake. As soon as you opened the room, musty smell overwhelms you. Bed was comfortable to sleep. TV was about 23 inch old JVC brand, pictures were fuzzy. In the middle of the night I had to use toilet which were not flushing. The chain inside the tank was broken!! Breakfast was nothing to write home about!

Sadly this hotel is in very rough shape. Paint peeling, mold growing in bathroom, missing grout in tile. The pool was not heated at all and the jacuzzi was empty and broken. We were told it might be fixed next year. The breakfast was very minimal. It has good potential but definitely needs some TLC.

The staff was great but the hotel does need some help. In all honesty, since the last time I’ve stayed here it has gone drastically downhill.

The AC was broken in our room, but we were able to move to another room. The hot tub was also broken. The whole hotel needs to be updated. The staff was friendly.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The check in took 45 minutes because it was the guy who was working’s first week and he couldn’t get a hold of his supervisor. The first room we went to we could tell it was never cleaned because the sheets looked like someone slept there. It was difficult getting another room because the man at the desk didn’t understand it was disgusting to sleep in unclean sheets. The next room we went to had mold all over the ceiling. DO NOT STAY HERE!
