Super let-down

Posted 07-Jul-2017
Pros: The location worked for us and the price was great.
This hotel is a joke. First off, our keys didn't work two different times throughout our stay and we had to go get new ones. The beds in our room were awful. Both beds caved in towards the center, and were ridiculously uncomfortable, like they were decades old. The shower was nasty, with rust and grime, all three of us chose to not shower for the two days we stayed at the Days Inn. There are many options in the Silverthorne/Dillon area, I'd choose to stsy elsewhere!

Terrible upkeep

Posted 07-Jul-2017
For starters I stayed in room 202. There was mold and the ceiling was morphing from saturation over the shower. The tub had mold/mildew all around what little caulking was left. Bedsheets had visible stains and the carpeting was so gross that I would not allow my 2 year old child to walk on the carpeting without socks. My own socks smelled like wet dog after only one night. This hotel has become complacent because you can fill rooms based on the location and proximity to ski mountains. Visible cracks in the walls in the hallways. Should have taken photos, but I was so grossed out by them i did not want acknowledge I even slept in that room. No ability to open a window to get some fresh air. The absolute worst hotel i have ever stayed in.

Fare for the price. The star was nice but had many duties so weren't always at the desk. Understood because I wasn't looking for a premium experience at a premium price.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your patience with our front desk staff, Independence Day weekend is one of our busiest times at the hotel.

I was overcharged and told it would be taken off my card come to find out it was never taken off. Now I'm an extra 100 short and have to wait the weekend.

Motel in the mountains

Posted 28-Jun-2017
The room was large & attractive, but my bed was lumpy & uncomfortable. Our keys never worked to open the door. Each day we had to get new keys---pretty frustrating when something that should take a minute, but it took a trip in the elevator from the 3rd floor down to the ground floor, wait until the receptionist is free, have a new key made & then another trip in the elevator back to the 3rd floor. They knew we were having problems, but never offered to fix the lock or give us a different room.

NASTY!

Posted 27-Jun-2017
I was so surprised by how filthy the hotel was. I have stayed at Days Inn in the padt and they have always been nice. This one was absolutely filthy and I am not overly picky. If I could have got my money back I seriously would have left and found another hotel.

Great hotel for the money!

Posted 25-Apr-2017 on Hotels
I was passing through late at night and just needed to stay, I really wasn't expecting or looking for much. The hotel was really a lot nicer than I was expecting! Especially considering the very reasonable price. The front desk clerk was more than helpful and nice, the room was really clean and nice, they even had a nice hot tub and sauna which unfortunately I didn't have time to use but would have if I'd had more time. It really was a lot more hotel than I expected for the price and would certainly stay again.
