The cottage is very comfortable and the surroundings are just stunning. 25 minute drive from Leksand, yet in complege serenity in the beautiful nature of Dalarna. We had the privilege of seeing plenty of wildlife, including elk. The host was very helpful and responsive during our stay. There are a couple of neighboring cottages with very friendly neighbors who helped us find our way around the area."

The sauna, indoor pool and hot tubs were fabulous. They are beautifully designed in a modern way that stays in harmony with the old world feeling of the hotel. The restaurant is absolutely delicious. We live in New Orleans, LA : a city known for its good food, so when we travel the food bar is set high. My husband is gluten free and dairy free and the staff constantly checked with the kitchen to make sure he could safely eat everything. It was consistently delicious. Tallberg is breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. I can’t wait to visit again and stay longer."
