Dear Mr. Richard,Regarding the negative criticism of your stay at the Hotel Chiusarelli, some things should be clarified.Upon your arrival at the hotel, upon your request for air conditioning, you were told that the air conditioning was no longer working: at the end of October the air conditioning was turned off because the system had to be changed at heating (at the end of October, due to Italian temperatures, air conditioning no longer makes sense, and people ask for heating).This was explained to you many times, and despite everything you complained, saying that you had to open the window to sleep, but given the noise coming from the street the receptionist on duty had to go into the street and tell the people walking or the traffic to be silent (but the road in front of the hotel is a public road, not a private one).As for the lack of an elevator, well publicized on all booking websites (including the one on which you made your reservation), this is due to the fact that being the hotel from 1870, it is classified, and due to the many architectural constraints no authorization may be given for the installation of a lift.As for the payment of the stay, you paid for all three nights you had booked (the third night could not be cancelled, and in any case the room remained at your disposal in case you returned).We are pleased that during your stay you appreciated the kindness of the staff, the excellent breakfast and the excellent location of the hotel.Best regards,Francesca Rosi,Director.
