Star location but not for middle scale travelers
This is a nice hotel for young people. The bathrooms are shared and sharing bathrooms with young people who are partying hard is not for older people! The location is unbeatable and everything in the building works but the service is limited (I could not figure out what the office hours were). There is no air conditioning. Overall, an excellent choice if you are a budget traveller but not if you are used to regular three + star hotels.

Although the location was great, it was the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed at. There are people in the streets surrounding the hotel talking until 3:00 a.m., then the street cleaner from 6:15 till 6:45. The windows are very old and don't block the noise. The bed was horrible, it sagged in the center about 5" 12cm, honestly I've slept on better beds in 3rd world countries. Breakfast although I did not have it is €12.00 / $13.20 for sweets and coffee. Seriously, look elsewhere for accomidations.

Room was quaint, georgeous and clean. Very close to Duomo Il Campo, so I had easy access to the Palio happenings which was fantastic on one had and very noisy on the other hand--so if you're a light sleeper, this place is not for you. The wifi kept cutting-out which was pretty frustrating when trying to do online meetings etc. Toilet paper kept running out in shared bathroom and problem wasn't fixed......

Are you cresy ? how can you say something so untrue? First of all you had to come to the 24 hour reception and I would have checked. But I don't believe a word. I could go to the police station to make a complaint against perjury and image damage because you can't speak unless you prove it's true

Very helpful staff with late check in. Clean rooms which were simple but enough. The numbers on the door were small which made it slightly hard to find the room at night but no problem. Fabulous location.

Reasonably priced central location.
Reasonable pricing. Close to centre. Clean room and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced for a central location. I' d recommend.

The hotel is in a very good location, the reception was okay, though he serve two hotels. The w-fi is a total mess, i had to do a lot on my laptop but the network was not working. even to make a call i had to sit in the reception at cold. The worst part of it is when i was booking for my three day trip, i had to consider hotel with breakfast and as was in their website, this is a total lie and misleading customers, because they don't offer any which made me regret.

Perfect location!
The location of this hotel is perfect! Only a few minutes walk from Il Campo and so many restaurants and shops all around. Less then 15 minutes walk to the bus station. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. They gave us a quadruple room when we had only booked a triple, which was great! Needs some updating, but very clean. Interior is all marble so sounds echo from outside the room, but not disturbing.

Old world charm
The location was fantastic! Everything in Siena was within walking distance. The hotel is a very old property, which means that things aren't always the best. The wifi only worked in the lobby, and you had to sign in each time. The door to our bedroom was extremely loud, which meant that any time that we went out or went to use the shower or bathroom, we were probably disturbing the people in the nearby rooms. There were no lifts so we had to climb several flights of stairs. In the shower, there were limited places to put things to prevent them from getting wet. I had to put my shoes outside of the door. Having said all of that, considering the age of the building, the place was fine. The fan over the bed worked extremely well and kept us cool. There was a sink in the room, which was nice, and the room was fairly large.

Very close to Il Campo, but tough to find if you're driving & need to park outside of walls. staff was great; but lighting & shelf space in bathroom poor; no soap; hard pillows. A few inexpensive things could have made it more comfortable.

1st of all this is a budget hotel 2nd the internet is no good The rooms are simple and basic There was a sink in the room,the toilet and shower was shared. No problem for me there are towels in your room. The bed is soft There was plenty of heat as I stayed in the winter Also a ceiling fan and large windows You are in the heart of Siena! It's a great location

Great hotel in the centre of town.
Only one night in Tre Donzelle but the staff were very helpful, suggested good places to eat and even showed us how to save some money on transport costs. We booked here because it was right in the centre of things so accepted there may be some noise from passing people (the street is too narrow for cars) but in fact it was relatively quiet. I'd have no hesitation in staying here again.

Excellent location, unbeatable price
I was given a street-facing room the first night, and due to a new bar opening up I was unable to get a good rest. The front desk and owner were super accomodating in finding me a quieter room, and I slept great the next few nights. The owner told me they are working to reduce noise from the new bar, and working on getting quieter, doubled-paned windows soon. For the price and location, its unbeatable. Rooms are comfy, showers were hot, and the front desk geniunely cared about guest comfort. Couldn't ask for more at this price point. Had a great 4-night stay here.

Great hotel, great location, great fan
Great location in Siena. Shared bathroom was ok but I would have preferred not. No air conditioning was very tough given the heat wave, but the fan in the room was amazingly powerful and kept us cool

Great location
The room was not great, but good enough if you want to be in the center of town. In walking distance from the bus station, even with luggage. Just a few steps from the tower and Campo. Private bath was a plus. Street noise easily comes through the old windows, then again, there happened to be a street party going on that went pretty late. Staff was very helpful. Overal a good value because of its locatio.

Good Budget Option
We spent two nights here. Booked at the last minute and got an en-suite room for a great price. It's not luxury, but for the price and location (one minute from the Piazza del Campo) it was superb. We can't understand the negative reviews. If you're looking for a five star experience, go elsewhere and pay five star prices. The staff were very helpful and friendly, too. Would definitely stay again should we return to Siena.

Terrific location right in the heart of things
We loved this hotel! It was charming and located right near the square and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, supermarket, internet stop, etc. Taxi ride from the train station was under 10 Euros. The only thing we didn't like - and we really didn't like this - was that housekeeping staff entered our room TWICE without knocking. The people at the front desk stored our luggage for us after we checked out and also called a taxi for us, which we really appreciated.

Fantastic Stay
If you know Siena, then straight away you will realize this is in the heart of the old city, a perfect location! Hotel reception spoke perfect English, were very helpful and Polite. Would definitely stay here again next time we go to Siena

Great for a budget stay close to the Il Campo
Great location if you want to be close to the center of town. A bit rustic as far as the room and hotel facilities. Much activity on the streets at night, which made sleeping a bit difficult after midnight. Get ready for walking hills!!!!!!!
