"From the welcome when we arrived to the moment we left we felt valued and well taken care of. Drinks in the relaxed bar before dinner, the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for a very long time, super bed linen, soft towels and a lovely view across the English Bridge. Then the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time too. I really appreciated the decor at the Lion and Pheasant, very stylish, with what looks like Farrow and Ball Light Blue on woodwork throughout which made the thoughtfully modernised old building appear very tastefully fresh, nothing stuffy and dated here. "Staff were great, hotel in general good. The amenities pool, workout area, showers left me cold. The treadmills are dusty, dirty, screens did not work and were nasty. The entire room needs a thorough clean. We had a wonderful family breakfast and it was wonderful. "
