nice hotel let down by some staff and breakfast

On first thaughts the Hotel itself was ok, when I first pulled up and saw my room I actually thought I had found my new favourite hotel for Telford. This started to change quite quickly. It is let down by having to pay for wifi which these days should be free as standard and breakfast is terrible. The chefs idea of eggs benedict is a 25min wait for two over cooked poached eggs in some kind of sauce, which I think was supposed to be hollandaise - not quite and eggs benedict as their was not even a muffin!! The Waiting staff were very slow but the duty manager seemed helpful to some. All in all I think a hotel is generally as good as the staff it employs, and for frequent travellers like myself this hotel needs some work to become a good hotel for a business traveller.
