Very comfortable, well appointed hotel. Soap/shampoo offerings better than what I'm used to in UK hotels. Breakfast was high quality though service in restaurant a bit slow. One caveat: Hotel entrance is from a courtyard off Devonshire Square and not visible from the street. Even London black cab drivers can't find it if they haven't been there before. Use 4 Devonshire Square address for cabs or Ubers than walk up steps into courtyard.

Unexpected Service Level
It was received warm welcome upon check-in. However, I lost the underwear and reported to front desk staff in the morning. However, no response upon arrive at night. I will be checked out next day and out of service from house keeping team.

Not a 5-star Hotel Quality
Not a 5-star hotel at all. We reserved a king room and the bed was more like queen. The room was small and not in a perfect condition. The only positive was the spacious and modern bathroom. The hotel is somehow hidden... i have stayed in other 5 or even 4 star hotels in London and had much better experience.

Great Weekend Location
Friendly & efficient reception. Rooms were very clean but the wardrobe isn’t the biggest. That’s my only grumble really, had a great 2 nights here & the location is fantastic. I can’t comment on the food or bar/leisure facilities as I didn’t use them.

This is how to do a London hotel
Location, staff friendliness and attentiveness, lounge and bedroom all exceptional. Great cocktails. No complaints as long as we can get same price next time we book

Would be good if you got a deal
Not really 5 star but staff are very pleasant. Good location, quiet area very close to Liverpool Street. Bar expensive but nice surroundings with pleasant sitting area The deluxe rooms they gave us are directly opposite council flats - literally an eyeball away!

Modern, hip, cool club - more than a hotel!
This was an amazing hotel, now my favorite in London, will not go anywhere else. Great staff, amazing breakfast, cool lounge, lobby, rooms, bar, waiting areas, part of town, etc.

Breakfast, restaurant & bar staff were excellent. The breakfast menu was delicious, I appreciated that it wasn’t a typical hotel buffet. Room was smaller than expected but clean/ comfortable, it was my birthday weekend, they did provide some lovely touches, like the cake & minibar. Unfortunately our room 301 was overlooking the dumpsters and some dodgy flats which really suck all of the prestige of staying in the city, zero views of the skyline and you do hear the rubbish being thrown out late at night. Ask to avoid this side of the hotel, it really does take the sheen off staying in a 5* hotel. Overall, it was nice but being honest, the view was horrible. I’ve had better 5* hotel experiences in the city.

It is a quiet oasis in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of London Town. It's location is superb with a short stroll to the up-and-coming Spitalfields and Shoreditch areas, and with Liverpool Street on its doorstep giving easy access to other areas too. Almost everything about this hotel is really good. The only negatives we had from our stay was the distinct lack of wardrobe space (half length), especially given we were booked in for four nights, and the brunch experience could have been better, if my wife's order had arrived correctly and not cold. However, I've stayed here before and I would stay here again.

Devonshire Club is very well located in the heart of the City of London. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and stylish decor. The bath felt particularly luxurious and inviting. Service was good, although I only stayed for one night. I would definitely return.

The hotel is clean and in a perfect location for what we needed during our stay. There were a few minor communication breakdowns with staff, however it didn’t tarnish our stay, we would love to return next time we are in London, Jocelyn (Sydney, Australia)

Convenient location for Liverpool St Station
Great hotel with convenient location to Liverpool Street Station and Old Spitalfields Market. There were only 2 drawbacks....the hotel/club is a bit difficult to find for taxi drivers since there is no street entrance for it. The room I stayed in was also rather small and didn’t have a bathtub.

What a fabulous stay at this hotel -what’s not to love ..professional service, complimentary mini bar goodies ,coffee machine ,crisp sheets and comfy bed and a great fit out . The area is quiet on the weekend but it was perfect for our short stay .

i love this hotel. i always stay here when i'm visiting for business. the service is impeccable. the bar staff and restaurant staff are so personable and knowledgable... i really enjoyed seeing them for a drink every night. Peter at the front door is the sweetest.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Devonshire Club. We found it very clean, staff could not do enough for us while daily staff were incredible. The room was always spotless and we found the location perfect for our daily travels would not hesitate staying there again.

This is a unique property and very cool. Its base business is a private club, with bars throughout (check out the Library on the second floor, through an unmarked door) and a badass gym that is housed in three separate rooms. The service is impeccable, the facility itself is modern and well maintained, and the surrounding neighborhood (near both Spitalfields and Whitechapel) is ideally located for good food and sightseeing. I look forward to staying here again.

Weekend break.
Fantastic weekend break in this hotel. Excellent location and lovely to return to a very comfortable pristine hotel having toured the city highlights. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will most definitely return on my next visit to London.

Great location near Liverpool Street Station makes it easy to use public transportation. All the employees are very accommodating. Room was great with comfortable bed and plenty of room. Service included bed turn down, water in room and fresh towels during the day. Will be back.
