"Hotel is in the good location and outside of location looks good like palace. Lobby reasonably ok. But room is very very small, inside room , the ambience is not good. Small cell like feeling. I observed one bug crawling in the bathroom. Shower gas shampoo and conditioner only, but no body soap inside shower. We had to take hand wash / body wash liquid bottle from sink area to shower area. "

"Love the antique furniture and the staff we very kind. Although the hotel room that we stayed in needed some updating especially in the bathroom. Some of the bed linens had stains. "

"It is lack of enough staff. First night, suddenly we wake up at 3 am with a tribble noise due to strong wind causing the window to be open. We could not closed it and lot of rain was entering into our room affecting our stuffs. Went down to reception, he offer to change our room but there no one to help us to get our stuff to move the the new room. I asked for a bottle of water, no room service was available after midnight and also no any water bottle was available to be taken to our room. Receptionist offered to go to the spa and take some water in a cup from a machine. I’ve been to Malia in many places around and I was expecting surely much Aveiro deserve much better hotel service. "The house is excellent and very well equipped. The outside is set to lawn with secure boundaries and therefore great for dogs to roam. The house is well set out for either families or a group of friends. The house is also ideally placed for amenities in the local town or as a base for exploring the area I.e. the local coast, Averio or Porto. The host is excellent and always available to resolve issues or to provide direction or advice. "
