"Best place to stay in Green Bay!"
We booked this hotel for 2 nights and for the price, we were expecting a hotel along the lines of la quinta. Wow were we impressed! The check in is in a main building, but the rooms are in buildings with 8 suites (half upstairs, half down) so it's almost like an apartment set up. The room was great- there was an arm chair, a pull out sofa, a coffee table and a fireplace in the "living room," there was a good size table between the living room and kitchen, with a few chairs around it. They didn't skimp on the kitchen either. There is a full size fridge with freezer, a full size dishwasher and stove, too! The room was equipped with all basic items for a kitchen (toaster, coffee pot, silverware, dishes, knives, can opener, pots and pans, etc etc) Everything was very clean throughout the room, but I was especially impressed with the kitchen area! Our room also had a very very comfortable bed, plenty of good pillows and blankets too. Basic hotel bathroom, but did have a nice big counter and mirror! We will stay here, and other Hawthorne Suites any time we can! oh, I forgot to mention on Wed nights there is a Social Hour in the main building and it's free soda, beer, snacks, and FULL DINNER (bbq ribs the night we got there). We didn't stay at happy hour because we were exhausted, but it looked like the guests there were enjoying it. Free breakfast in AM includes the basics (cereal, yogurt, bagels, fruit) and also eggs and sausage (actually being cooked by a person!)
