"It was a fantastic nights stay, wish we could have stayed longer, as we were just passing through! The spa was amazing, lovely warm water temperature, great facilities with sauna and steam room, and really great planning to have family swim slots. The breakfast was delicious, great that it was included in the price of the room and staff so friendly. We stayed in the suite, not much extra a night but the room facilities were fantastic"

"Quiet even by the airport. Easy to get in to Rochester and surrounding places. Easy available parking. Loved the pool, steam room and sauna….really missed the hot tub/jacuzzi as it was not working. Great variety and quality at breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!"

"I've stayed here on a number of occasions over the last decade and a bit. I've always found it to be friendly, with good beer and good food. My only reservations are that in colder months, the chalets can be a bit on the cool side despite having heaters. However, on this occasion, I was in one of the newer rooms and the bathroom was nice and warm in the morning and best of all contained a walk-in shower stall, far better than clambering over a bath tub! The pub itself has remained a decent hostelry, with a good choice of drinks. There is always a good local beer or two on tap. The food is usually very good, if a bit on the pricey side. I had calf's liver the first night which was very tasty and well presented. Breakfasts are amongst the best I have on my travels, with all contents of the plate well cooked and presented. The staff are always friendly, chatty and helpful and I will certainly continue to stay here when down in Kent. Highly recommended also for leisure as it is positioned brilliantly for Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Chatham and the Kent Weald. Problem is I'm always at work when here!"

"Stayed here for my honeymoon, food was amazing and varied with friendly staff who couldnt have done more, despite me and my wife being alternative and probably not the hotels usual clientele we were treated with nothing but kindness and respect, my wife suffers from chronic pain and needs ice packs to sooth pain, despite no fridge/freezers in the rooms the staff were able to store her icepacks for her."
