The granite countertops, large TVs, well-stocked kitchen, and abundance of linens were appreciated. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and foosball table, and seeing deer on the property was a highlight.While some areas were not as clean as expected, the bigger issue seemed to be general upkeep rather than housekeeping alone. There was a musty smell that became stronger when the heat was on, visible dust in vents, and a few dated elements (such as the dishwasher) that would benefit from updating. The large volume of posted directions—many in all caps—and some outdated instructions also made the space feel less welcoming. This may suit families looking for a budget-friendly cabin, but removing the description “fully remodeled” would help better align future guests’ expectations."
