We went to Holiday Inn Ironbridge for our daughters gymmastics competition and arrived very late after being on the road for 7 hours but staff were very welcoming on our arrival and we were in our room very quickly. The family suite was very spacious, clean, warm and very welcoming. Despite sleeping late, and waking up relatively early we felt very refreshed with the comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast next morning was fantastic with a good choice of hot and cold food and drinks and the restaurant decor with a fireplace in the middle made the restaurant feel very upmarket. Again, couldn't fault the serving staff. We will definitely be back there next year when the gymnastic comp comes round again. We will try and go early next time as there was a nice pool, jacuzzi and gym available as well as a bar and lounge area. Thanks for a great stay Holiday Inn Ironbridge!

No sleep, bad bed & awful shower
Allocated room at front of hotel only to be kept awake until 330am by people smoking and drinking. The shower was beyond pathetic in pressure and the bed wasn’t even made well, badly fitting sheets. Coffee machine broken so nothing to ease the La k of sleep and bad shower! Won’t be returning. Only good thing about the hotel was food and staff in the restaurant.

Good location, good and facilities
Quite easy to locate and park. Close enough to walk up to the shops and bars. Hotel staff helpful and the room was good, with two large comfortable double beds. Leisure facilities looked good and even had swimming lesson slots. Public areas were good, but one area was under repair after what appeared to be water damage. Nice outside sitting area, surrounded by trees and had a nice water feature trickling away. Breakfast was very nice - nice surroundings, good selection and good quality food.

Great weekend away with the wife
Great hotel with friendly staff. Great pool. Little odd how they had separate saunas for male and female so couldn't go in with my wife Rooms were spacious and fully functional. Bed was a little on the hard side for us but not to the point they were uncomfortable. My only negative about the rooms were the doors that slammed closed with a thud and at 2am and 3am in the morning that's quite annoying Breakfast was plentiful. The quality of the food was good, unfortunately although the plates were hot the food was only luke warm.

I found it over priced shower has little pressure and no house cleaning unless you ask. For the price I would expect at a min someone come and make the bed

The staff was very friendly and SO accommodating with our big dog. We had a wonderful stay, so did our dog, with a very big park just next to the hotel it was brilliant. Definitely recommended.

Too hot in room
Air conditioning set to 18 degrees which made the room very uncomfortable on a hot day. We purposely booked this hotel for the air conditioning as I get very hot & on previous stays it was much cooler, but it appears to be a new system. This would put me off staying again!

Fantastic on every level, best staff of any Holiday Inn. Only thing I could fault the stay on is the size of the TV's in the room, they are absolutely tiny.

Convention stay
Great comfy bed and easy access to the convention centre next door. Rooms could do with a bit of renovating. Upgrading the TVs etc The pool is small but great for a quick swim. The gym is compact, a few treadmills, rowing machines. It’s great for free weights but could do with a bigger space and more cardio machines

I stayed for 3 nights. Staff are always friendly, room was comfortable and the breakfast sets you up for the day. Only thing I would suggest is the gym opens at 7am. Could do with opening a little earlier so people can get a work out in, their breakfast, and out the door to work.

Dog was barking all night also big bang on the night the light out the bathroom came from the ceiling all live electric wires exposed told staff no compansation or offer to stay again very disappointed

Awful night sleep
We had a horrible night sleep due to the air conditioning not working and the family next door having a crying baby. My daughter was competing the next day for the English Gymnastics Championships so it was a really bad start for us. We were so tired the next day.

We haven't reduced our breakfast options or room condiments, still adhering to standards dictated by IHG, though some items may be available on request.
