"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Chase Park Plaza in the Central West End of St. Louis, and as always, it exceeded my expectations! Having stayed here for years, I can confidently say that this hotel is an elegant and rewarding place to stay. The facilities are truly beautiful, combining historic charm with modern amenities. Each visit feels special, and the attention to detail is evident throughout the property. One of my favorite experiences during my stay was dining at the Tenderloin Room. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was perfect for a lovely evening out. Additionally, the bar experience was enjoyable thanks to the fantastic bartenders, Sean and Sara. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we felt right at home while we enjoyed our drinks. I also want to extend a special shoutout to Brenda and Harold, who consistently provide exceptional service. Their friendliness and professionalism are always a highlight of my visits! Overall, the Chase Park Plaza is a gem in St. Louis. With top-notch service, beautiful surroundings, and a warm, inviting atmosphere, I can't recommend it enough. I look forward to my next stay!"

"Very good price...very nice home. Lacking in many of the specified amenities. Just 1 small container of hand soap, no soap in the bathrooms, two towels for the 3 of us for a weeklong stay. And only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Kitchen was also sparse. The utensils were OK for our stay since we were too tired after work to actually cook but definitely NOT a chef's kitchen! The host offered that he had stuff stolen by previous guests, but for the hefty cleaning fee, those small items should have been replaced. All in all, a good stay & will definitely stay again, But will make sure to bring soap, towels & TP."

"I would not recommend booking this place. The neighborhood is not quiet as stated in the listing, my group heard gun shots multiple nights in a row as well as it is right down the street from a drug house. A lot of the lights for the main rooms do not work so it’s hard to see once it gets dark outside. A few nights before we left one of the alarms just beeped every minute loudly up until the day we left. When pulling the sheets down to lay down on the beds we heard stuff falling off the sheet's so I’m not sure if they’re ever washed. There is no shower just two very dirty tubs( they have brown stains and one even had a persons hair all over in it) with no shower curtains at all and you would have to hold the shower head if you do want to use shower. There was also bugs all over the floor and sheets which I mentioned to the host and he didnt care at all and claimed the cleaner “must have missed that” Overall I just don’t think this place will accommodate anyone regardless of how often you’re planning on being at the property. I wasn’t that concerned when booking it because it was just a work trip and we aren’t ever at our places long enough but to eat and sleep but this place was hard to even sleep and shower at would highly recommend spending a little extra money for a place you will actually feel comfortable and clean sleeping at, I definitely will next time. "
