I liked the walk inn shower. I was really disturbed by the coifee maker being in the bathroom. I also liked the late check out time.

Hotel was clean with friendly staff we asked for linens for pullout bed and they checked three floors to supply them for us, hot breakfast for free wish they had bacon, there was no meat option. Elevators were fast and easy to food options. Is some construction outside for convention center but was fine. Pool towels available, water could be a lil warmer but not bad, unfortunately there was a kids party that came in shortltvaftervwe started swimming and we couldn't enjoy. O really we would stay again, hickory was nice to visit and this was close for the volleyball tournament.

Very nice hotel! The noise from cars and trucks going by on the highway was very loud. Other than that it was a great experience

The bed was like sleeping on a brick. The very idea of going to bed and sleeping involves lying down on a "soft" comfortable mattress so you'll be comfortable so you can go to sleep. These mattresses made for a very unpleasant stay for all of our group( 3 rooms). We all talked about the rock hard mattresses the next morning. Guess how many of us have sworn off Hampton Inn--6.

Our new favorite. We’ve stayed at numerous hotels the past 3 yrs of traveling to Hickory, NC to see our son at Lenoir Rhyne University and this one is going to be our new “usual”. They’re consistent; check-in is smooth, quick and friendly. When we get in, the last thing we want to do is deal with a check-in wait or issue and having a clean & SUPER comfy room at a very reasonable price, is one last thing to worry about. In a great location to the Univ, Moretz stadium, restaurants, grocery stores & gas stations, on top of a complimentary full breakfast is worth every penny and more.

Everytime I go to Hickory N. C. we stay at the Hampton Inn. The breakfast is fantastic, the staff are friendly. I would prefer that the make my bed and dump my trash daily.

Hiltons policy has changed for housekeeping service and now should be completed every two days, however you can request daily service as well. Overall a very nice stop. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. The room was fine but the carpet needs a good cleaning, as it had an odor to it. Bathroom was clean.

The staff was beyond excellent. Helen , Will & Charles were so helpful with helping me with my handicap husband. We were unfamiliar with area & helped with directions to wedding venue. Also helped with checking to see if we needed anything each day. Anton helped me with getting my husband out of room while I held door. They were all so kind & wish more people like them. Only complaint is the bed in handicap room high for my handicap husband to get into. Our stay was wonderful, close to restaurants, etc.

Hampton Inn "got us" again during our stay. SOL for room service cleaning, even after requesting that it be done. Front desk then wanted me to self service items for our room by carrying clean towels up. We should get a discount for doing the cleaning staffs job. In addition, the outside parking lot and sidewalks have not seen a good pressure washing in a long time. Had to step over several patches of baked on gooey spills and cigarette butts.

Impressive for a Family Stay in Hickory
Wonderful experience for a three-night family stay. Enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. A very good spread at breakfast! Friendly chef and front desk. Clean hotel. We will stay here again for sure.

I didn't like that I was charged a $50.00 fee for my pet, when I saw that the place was pet friendly. No notice of a fee being charged was prominently displayed on the website when I booked my room. If it had I would have either stayed someplace else or not brought my pet.
