Not a nice stay
The staff made this a very bad experience. They said they were busy with a wedding and did not allot rooms even at 3:30pm (well past checkin time). Once allotted we (3 in total - 1 Indian and 2 foreign friends) were given rooms on different floors, even though it was the same booking. As it happens, probably by complete coincidence, that all the people on my floor appeared to be from the same nationality where as my friends said that people on their floor appeared to be non-local individuals. This is the only airport hotel for HYD and it shows because even at dinner and checkout one is made to feel as it they were an imposition on the staff rather than made to feel welcome. Even my friends said that they could make out the complete contrast in hospitality between the hotel that they stayed in Vijayawada (where they visited) to the Novotel hotel.
The rooms were of high quality though. They were clean and the location close to the airport means that this hotel will always be busy and convenient for short staying customers.
I urge the senior management of the hotel to look into the staff issues as this leaves a bad impression on the hotel chain which otherwise has a good name (and I have stayed-in in other countries)
