"I had a terrible experience with Natura Gardens. I arrived at 2:30 pm to find no one there and no information on checking in or how to contact anyone. I waited 2 hours and then walked up the road to find help. I found a man who made a phone call and said someone would be over shortly. I returned to the hotel and after 45 minutes a couple showed up. It was 6:30 pm and I was very hot and frustrated. I don’t speak much Spanish and they didn’t speak English but eventually they called someone. I don’t remember the whole conversation but when it became clear that I was going to be left alone and have to look after myself, my frustration boiled over and I said I was not staying and wanted a refund. She said I would have to get my money back from Orbitz and then told the gentleman to drive me back to town, which he did. The hotel is very different from the description and pictures on the website. I don’t need a fancy hotel; I had been staying in places for $30 per night that were fine. I decided to pay more for a nice place but this was not it. The rooms were rather dingy and tired looking. The whole place was dusty and deserted. I am 6’ 3”, 250 pounds - I don’t scare easily, but this place gave me the creeps, reminding me of the motel in Hitchcock’s movie Psycho. I never received an apology or money back and Orbitz said they were not able to get a refund- it was not clear if she refused the refund or if they had not been able to reach her to even discuss it. "

"Excellent location. Solid hardwood furnishings. Very good breakfasts. Friendly, helpful staff. Only drawback was lack of in-room coffee maker. Highly recommend!"

"This property is incredible and so uniquely different in our opinions. We did a fair amount of research and comparisons before we booked this hotel and the stay recently has proved that we made the right choice. This hotel is in the highlands so a taxi is required to get into town but we expected that so it is not an issue. The host was very welcoming, the services were top notch and friendly. The property has a homely feeling and Sava the dog was a delight to be hanging around with. The daily sightings of the tortoises was the highlight of our stay as we love love them. All in all, it was a very enjoyable and memorable stay for us and we will always appreciate it. Thank you to the team who worked so hard to make our stay such an incredible experience. This "

"Ariana’s is excellent to stay in. The beds are super comfortable, the view from the kitchen area is great, the air conditioning worked great. Across the street is undeveloped land so we saw several new birds. It is a little over a mile to the harbor so if that’s more of a walk than you’d like, taxis are everywhere. All kinds of stores are within 2-3 blocks. We loved the neighborhood. "

"Staff was very friendly, cordial. We arrived early and they made every effort to have our room ready as soon as possible without even asking. They greeted us with a glass of cold tea which was very good and much needed because we were thirsty from walking from the pier to the hotel. They also let us know that the breakfast time had already finished but since the following day we were leaving early to take the ferry they could offer us the included breakfast on the day of our arrival, so we had a wonderful and homey breakfast with eggs, ham, cheese, coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt and it was heaven because we had just come by ferry and hadn't had time to have breakfast. They had water, coffee and tea at the lobby all day. We could walk to the main pier and shopping and dining areas easily, safely and comfortably."
