![Yes, some parts of Bali are overrun with tourists and rubbish. However, we’ve been here for a couple of weeks now and we’ve seen many beach clean ups being organized, plus single-use plastic is restricted, so yay to this Bali! 

Whenever I hear people complaining because Bali is too touristy, I would like to remind them that it’s a pretty big island, and visiting ‘Western hotspots’ is not compulsory! You can always find places with not many other people around, and in some cases you don’t even need to travel far. This is Seseh Beach, less than 15 minutes away from Canggu by scooter!

"The room was amazing. Clean, very modern, and bed was very comfortable. Kitchen is a huge plus, but being picky, I would add some more cooking pots. Otherwise, great location, easy parking for the bike, few convenience stores around to access, and obviously, the location is at the gateway to the great world of Canggu! "First time staying at Conrad Bali and I must say it exceeds our expectations. Previous 7 trips to Bali we also stay at Nusa Dua as we like the location. The staff at Conrad Bali really made the difference. They were so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make our stay comfortable like allowing us to use our half board to have meals brought to our room on one of the days as one of my daughters was not feeling well that day. Also allowed us to have a late checked out on one of our rooms. Greatly appreciate it and not forgetting the birthday decorations in the room and a birthday cake for my wife! Thank you very much for your excellent service. "
