Villa on the beach: 5 ocean front suites and 2 bunk rooms

"Overall we had a great stay at this beautiful property but as other reviewers noted, it needs a little TLC and updating. For example-the main stove in the kitchen-all the dial info is worn off so you have no idea which is up or down & only one of the 4 burners got hot enough to boil water, two only warm and one wouldn't come on at all. The second stove/oven in the laundry room didn't work at all. So try cooking meals for 8 people with only one working burner! Oven was the same way, did not work properly. On the positive side, the second refrigerator in the laundry room was a huge plus and we could not have done without it. The bedroom on the left on the top floor, the inside shower-the water never got hot and the outside shower blew only water sideways. Very hard for the couple staying in that room to get ready, The main bedroom on the top floor was great, but again, the inside shower didn't work properly and water only dribbled out so we HAD to use the outside shower (which worked fine) but if there was anyone out on the water they could see me! Communication with host was slow at best, I even asked for a second number because the first girl would take so long to reply. Enjoyed having the daily maid and the guy next door that watched the house, even though it was a little strange at first at the end we felt better with him "keeping guard" lol. All flaws aside, the house itself is beautifully set on the water and the pool is amazing (even though lots of missing/broken tiles)."

"We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this 2BR 2BA home in Savaneta. The house was clean and well stocked. We cooked at the home 2 nights and had everything we needed.The hot tub was so relaxing, but plan ahead as it needs time to warm up fully if you like it hot. Keeping the cover on while it heats up makes it faster.The beds were firm and comfortable and seemed about US queen size. The air conditioning worked very well. The owner requested we keep them off if we weren't home, and it was no problem as they cooled the house quickly. We found that the home was comfortable enough that we didn't always need AC on even while we were home. The bathrooms were spotless. There's a market within a 2 minute walk (right around the corner) that had most things you might need.The owners checked on us by WhatsApp frequently, offered tips, and even showed up at the home with snorkel equipment when we told him our plans to snorkel. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with them. We absolutely recommend this home for anyone wanting to stay in Aruba outside of the tourist areas. Lots of excellent restaurants and local spots nearby, great home, excellent hosts."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Aruba, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host than Edward! From the moment we booked, he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. He was incredibly responsive and answered every question we had within minutes. You could truly tell that he cared about his guests and wanted us to have the best experience possible.The house itself was spacious, beautiful, clean, and filled with fun, unique décor. With 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, every bedroom having its own private full bathroom, it was perfect for our group. We especially loved the unique pool, the layout of the property, and the BBQ and bar area. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, hang out, and enjoy our time together.Ton, the property manager, was also wonderful. Anytime we needed something, he was quick to respond and arrive to help. He even stopped by midweek with additional supplies and fresh towels, which was thoughtful.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If we ever return to Aruba, we would absolutely contact Edward again and stay here without hesitation. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, spacious place to stay with an amazing host!And one little tip… you definitely won’t need an alarm clock! The neighborhood dogs will make sure you’re up and ready to start your day. Thank you, Edward and Ton, for helping make our Aruba vacation so memorable."

"We have stayed at this property several times and it never disappoints. Comfortable and clean apartment with a great view. Good swimming and snorkeling right across the street. Employees and hosts were friendly and responsive during the stay. Communication prior to the stay was not great however. I got no responses to multiple messages over several weeks within the VRBO app when I needed to amend our reservation. I finally got a response by sending an instagram message and they responded and gave me a WhatsApp contact. Other than the poor communication before our arrival it was a perfect experience."
