Convenient location in Insadong. Room is small, but well appointed and comfortable. The front desk was multilingual and very helpful. Many shops and restaurants nearby, a small supermarket is next door, the Chongno police station across the street. Felt safe, and close to Myeong dong shopping, Namsan tower, Kyongbokgung palace.

Very happy with the amenities surrounding hotel - supermarket right next door, lots of eateries and shops in the area, airport shuttle bus is 5-10mins walk and subway is 5 mins walk. Easy walking distance to many main tourist attractions.

Excellent hotel with good varied buffet breakfast available. We did not choose to include the breakfast when we booked but we were offered a two-for-one price upon arrival and it was definitely worth it.

Was a little unsure based on the price but I was pleasantly surprised! Easy walk to the subway, close to lots of different places to eat, under 1 mile to the market, and the hotel was clean and a bargain for the price

The hotel is clean and efficient, check in and out is easy and the staff are friendly and speak good English. A twin room for two adults had sufficient space and comfortable beds, but it was difficult to open two medium-large suitcases but for 5 nights it was okay. The bathroom was clean and had a lot of storage space for cosmetics etc and a high pressure shower. The location of the hotel has good bus and train links which are easy to use. There is also a small cafe on the ground level which sells delicious bagels and coffee.

It was my first time to Korea and to Seoul. For me, this hotel is very central and it’s easy to get around. The room is more spacious than expected, but I think it’s still smaller than North American hotels, so take note. However, staff and services are excellent. I will stay again when next I return to Seoul.

Convenient one night stay at end of guided tour on last night. Plenty of places to eat around the area . Very close to Jongak subway station , 2 stops on Line 1 from Seoul station where we took Arex rail express to Incheon airport . Helpful friendly reception . Room was more spacious & comfortable compared to similar priced 3 star hotel in Myeongdong

Great location for exploring Seoul. Super close to major tourist attractions (palaces, villages, food, and shopping) we ended up walking most days and not using the conveniently located subway! Room is of good size and has mostly everything you need (note it doesn’t have an ironing board or microwave).

The hotel was situated in a nice quiet part of the city and was close to public transportation. The room was clean. However, i had the misfortune of staying in a room with faulty AC. After reporting the issue to the front desk, i was asked to wait 20 mins and call back again if the issue was not fixed. After i called back, they informed me that they were going to send someone up to check but after waiting 30 mins i decided to go down and inform them about the issue directly. There i was greeted by annoyed front desk personnel who informed me that the aircon was working fine. I then headed out for dinner and when i came back the aircon was still faulty. I then contacted the frontdesk again and they opted to provide me with a desk fan.

I recently had an enjoyable experience at AMID Hotel in Seoul that exceeded all my expectations by offering convenience, culture, and comfort in abundance. Its prime location close to various popular tourist attractions and within walking distance of Insadong – known for its Korean food and arts scene – provided an unforgettable stay. The most notable feature of this hotel was undoubtedly its exceptional location; being within walking distance of several tourist attractions and having quick access to public transportation allowed me to effortlessly explore Seoul. Whether wandering through the lively streets of Insadong or visiting nearby temples underpinning Korean heritage I found everything just a stones' throw away from this hotels' doorstep. Furthermore. Its proximity to bus stops made getting around the city even more convenient. I would definitely stay this hotel again.

The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The staff is warm and courteous. This hotel is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, buses and subway stations. It's a great location. It is currently under some renovation (April 2023).

We were really disappointed by unfriendliness and rudeness of front desk staff. No welcome greetings at all.The same story with checking out. Language barrier is a huge problem. We came early and were forced to pay 40000 won without any explanation . We were trying to explain that everything was already paid. Glad the manager told about the earlier check in policy later on. We stayed in several hotels during our trip in Korea and there is the same policy for checking in at 3 pm. They will not allow you to get the room earlier. The hotel with signs of aging and limited offers. Moderate breakfast serving mouldy bread and over-ripen or defrosted fruits. Buffet staff was probably the most friendly . Good location in the heart of insadong although not the easiest to find . Was grateful to stranger for his help to find . The room was OK. Will choose another hotel for the next time in Seoul.

部屋も広くて、バスタブもあり、駅も近くにいくつかあるので非常に便利。安国にも歩いていかれます。カフェやパン屋さんが沢山あり、街歩きを楽しめます。明洞へも歩けます。ホテルで日本人には会わなかったので、日本人の宿泊は少ないのかもしれないです。フロントの方も日本語はカタコトで英語で対応してくれました。 次回もこちらのホテルにしたい！と思えるホテルでした。かなり、おすすめです。
