Excellent location close to old town.

Cons: The hotel is quite hard to find and difficult to reach due to the oneway system, could do with really precise access information on the website.
Location: A lovely historic town and lots of attractive outdoor restaurants.
Pleasant, clean hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. A good breakfast and lots of restaurants nearby. Parking very secure.

Difficult to get to by car

Posted 28-Feb-2017
Pros: The hotel has a very modern feel and our room was spacious and comfortable
Cons: There needs to be much better signage to get to the hotel or at least provide guest with specific driving directions prior to arriving.
Location: The hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance to many local attractions. Close to many shopping and restaurant options.
The hotel is wonderful...once you figure out how to get to it by car. It took us over an hour to do 3 big loops around the hotel trying to maneuver one way streets and blocked entrance ways. We finally had to park 5 minutes from the hotel, walk to it to ask them how to get to the parking garage. The garage is also quite a challenge - very steep and extremely small spaces. The lobby of the hotel is lovely and has a nice restaurant / seating area. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant in the morning was delicious. It was also a challenge getting our car out of the center area. There are barricades preventing you from exiting the area. We had to stop in the tourism office to ask how to get out...it turns out, there are sensors by the barricades and as your car approaches close to them, they open up. Who knew! We would definitely stay here again now that we figured out how to get in and out.

Cozy Rouen

Posted 28-Nov-2016 on Hotels
Our stay was comfortable. Though we weren't informed of the remodeling happening in the lobby area. Didn't get a discount fro this inconvenience either. The hallway felt like being on a dark blue walled cruise ship, very strange. The room was standard European size with not much of a view nor frills but functional. The houses across the street you could almost touch, they were that close, so keep your curtains drawn for privacy. You've got to be comfortable navigating narrow French city streets plus the very narrow parking garage is an interesting feature.

Room not so great.

The room was pretty basic. Thought it would be way more upscale. Staff was totally delightful.
