great location in Rouen, with a stunning view across to Rouen cathedral. Really comfortable bed and pillows The room was a bit small, with furniture crammed in and bathroom fittings making it hard to move around

Comfortable Room
This hotel was worth the money. Not a lot of facilties but the room had a kettle, tea and coffee and a little safe for storing valuables.

all rooms are the same not really great and the service isn't very customer-focused. I would not suggest upgrading rooms as all rooms are the same

Good stay. As buffet is currently not an option you can select breakfast option the day before and they bring to your room what you order.

Very basic hotel, paper cups and plastic sticks that melt when used to stir hot drinks ! Very noisy area, not much sleeping done, but is a convenient location for resturants, shops, cathedral etc. Would not return to this hotel but have to congratulate staff for being helpful and freindly.

Cheep but OK
Central Rouen OK Place to stay. Frendly and helpful staff. Ordinary rom, but good enough if you just need a Place to stay for quiet stepping and a bathroom. My rom had AS a bonus, a Nice vieuw to the Cathedral. Low price.

Outdated in need of TLC
Hotel outdated. We booked double rooms but where given very smal hot single rooms, although these rectified once we pointed it out. Double room was good value for money

Dear, We give you room with name you tell us RICHARD so when you came back to complaining for your rooms a long time after the check-in , you show us a booking with the name of RUTTER. This mistake was yours, and more we loose two rooms due to this mistake. So please tell the good name when you arrive in the hotel that could be avoid the mistake. We didn't ask the difference for your booking but with comment we really did. You ask us to visit the room, and you say ok, after you're vomplaining about our rooms so why didn't cancelled the rooms ? That's the question. For information all the rooms in our hotel was renew in february 2017, but some cummon areas need to be refreshing and modernising. When you need to booked a rooms call the hotel that's will be great for the hotels not for the booking company. Kinds regards.

Nice budget hotel close to city centre.
Nice budget hotel close to city centre. Clean. Satisfactory shower facilities. Easy walking distance to town. One block from the spectacular cathedral. No parking except what is on the street but it's free overnight from 7pm to 9am.

Do not stay here
We have stayed in a lot of Hotels in many countries but this was our worst ever experience. We booked a room with a refrigerator as this was a requirement of our booking and when we got to our room, no fridge, the noise from the roadworks was very bad ( no fault of the hotel) so I asked for a quiter room with a fridge, I was told that the rooms didnt have fridges and there were no better rooms even though we were at the end near the roadworks. I was later informed by another staff member at checkout that this person had lied to us and some rooms did have fridges. In addition to this, when I checked my credit card statement 2 days later, I discovered that they had illegally deducted another $297 from my credit card. It has taken a week to get this money back and there excuse was that they had charged someone elses room to my card, there explanation for how this happened was not feasable and their reaction to our complaint has been disgusting. We have now been charged 2 foreign transaction conversion fees for these transactions which we will have to pay. The hotel has offered to refund these if we give them our bank account details which we would never trust them with. If you do stay here, make sure you check your bank statements after leaving because if I had not done that, we would be $297 out of pocket.

Dear, We already fixed our mistake during your stay so more we have refund the second transaction but you didn't send us our RIB/IBAN to refund your international extra fee from your bank. In first, in your booking information, we haven't any information about request about mini-fridge. In second, for the roadworks, we can't do anything. And more, the staff member says you "it's impossible to install a mini-fridge in this room" and this thing is right. and more this day we are fully-booked so can't change your room like your have ask us many time due to th roadworks because the sound is the same in the entire hotel. So, we have explain you what we can't refund all your stay. Like we say every times, please note in comment during your booking if you want a fridge and we can attribute a room with one. So dear have a good day. The front desk.

We were very kindly welcomed and the receptionist was helpful with storing our bike and with parking. However there was a dog in the next room and someone was smoking in another room by ours neither of which were great. But the hotel itself was fine.

Lovely and quiet but close to everything
Was just right Hotel was right in the centre of town although still quiet Literally minutes walk from the Cathedral Reception staff were really friendly A fridge would have made it even better

Looks recently refurbished! Location was excellent - a short walk from all Rouen's best tourist attractions. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly.

Very much a budget hotel.
Ideal for students but anyone over 25 forget it. I was on the top floor & at 53 I struggled with all of the stairs. Didn't get a wink of sleep as other residents were very noisy well into the night & didn't give a toss about anyone else. Paper thin walls meant I heard every time they went to the toilet or showered. (Made my pipework rattle) . slamming doors also a pain. No noise from outside all from inside. True you get what you pay for !

Hotel staff very nice and helpful, spoke a bit of English. Room with a Cathedral view but extremely small. It was a budget hotel so we knew it was not going to be perfect. We enjoyed Rouen, it's a lovely city. WIFI at the hotel was FREE N FAST.

Great Hotel, cheap but good
Only problem was a couple who had a little too much wine. One of them was banging on the hotel door, trying to get them to call the police. Great other than this one incident.

Good choice
Hotel was in a convenient location and service was terrific. The only drawback was that my large room was facing the street on a Friday night and the windows were not enough to keep out the noise from party-goers in the park across the street. With earplugs, it was fine, though.

It's a 2 star hotel. Central, helpful staff, small yet comfortable room. No lift and tiny shower room but really, what do you expect for the price? It's smack in the centre of town. Although no parking at hotel, car park next door and free parking on street til 9 am. Clean & tidy. Free wi-fi!

Convenient to centre of town and sights
Complicatedt to find by car although once found parking in local car park was good Room was on 4th floor with no lift so being fit is a definite requirement. Being in our 60's we found going up to room with case very difficult. Was quite noisy until the early hours but this was expected in a central location. Girl on desk very friendly, room small but clean. Did not take breakfast as many small bars and cafe's nearby for a coffee and croissant.

I was disappointed that I was promised breakfast with our reservation and then charged 12 euros each . This hotel needs a lift, an elevator to the 4th floor. The desk staff speak English and are moderately helpful. They directed us to the old market for restaurants. Great fish restaurant across square. Good shopping & access to river & major sites. Take a taxi from train station _ it 's inexpensive and a lot easier than the metro or tram. Rouen is an excellent siteseeing city. The cathedral & art museum are magnificent.

Rooms on third floor; had to carry luggage up and down, no lifts. Room was small, especially the shower, but comfortable and clean. Nice bedding. Neighborhood so quiet we were able to open our window and listen to the rain during the night. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Rouen. Overall, nice place.

Usual Terrible French Service, but great location!
The first day the receptionist was very rude and I almost changed hotel just because of his unfriendly welcome. He acted like he didn't know any English seeing that I speak terrible French. Somehow, by the last day the same receptionist suddenly became very friendly and and miraculously remembered his English, He even didn't charge us for breakfast. He must have overheard me tell my cousin that I was going to give the hotel a terrible review! The hotel does not deserve to be part of an American "Comfort Inn" Chain! But the price is OK and the location is great! Because of that I do recommend this hotel, just don't expect good service and use it only to sleep.

Comfort Hotel Rouen Alba- close to many sites
The hotel was clean but make sure you're able to walk up stairs. There is no elevator & 4 floors also you need to be incredibly skinny for some of the bathrooms. We had a stand alone shower that you had to squeeze in & could not bend over in...so don't drop the soap!!!

Very central location. The hotel is two star which is what I required, and bearing in mind that rating, it provided what I needed for a one night stay. If I had wanted to stay longer, I would have gone for a more highly starred establishment.

Nice clean comfortable hotel for the price, staff very helpful and friendly. Good position in centre of city, close to the cathedral. Our only complaint was the thinness of the walls, which meant it was a little noisy at night. Would stay there again.
