The chateau from the outside looks magnificent. After check in there is no assistance with luggage. No elevator. Walked up three flights of dangerous floors. The room needs some attention. The bathroom door wouldn’t even close.

It is a beautiful historic location with lot's of heritage. Be ready for a climb to your room if you are on the second or third floor. There are no lifts and the grand staircase is grand. The staff are friendly and the serving of the food is exceptional

Gorgeous landscape in a quiet town tucked away from the tourism of Fecamp and Eteret. The dinner is quite excellent and the restaurant comes highly recommended!! The bedroom we stayed in was just old and "cheap," and it failed to echo the grandeur of the rest of the property. I chose to stay in a renovated castle to feel (for a few nights at least,) like a princess, but really, I felt like I was in a cheap Hilton hotel off some highway when I entered my room. It wasn't a terrible stay, but the bedroom itself just lacked the "oomph" that the rest of the hotel gives off. So, if you are going to stay here and want that Kingly experience, I would recommend charging up for a more expensive room, or find a different renovated castle and visit Sissi for the dinner.

Wonderful experience in Empress' summer residence
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful mansion and grounds. Peaceful and restful. The room was very well appointed and the Jaccuzi bath was great. The evening meal was very well done and the wine cellar well stocked. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Great Hotel!
Fantastic hotel in the french countryside. Pictures on hotels.com don't even do it justice. I expected it to be worse based on other reviews I have seen. It is an extremely charming chateau with beautiful gardens right in the Normandy area. It is just around the corner from a pub, little grocery store, pharmacy, bakery and church. What more could you want from a small french town?! Staff were more than pleasant and helped me with everything from getting an ironing board to late check out. Is it the most modern hotel? No. But you shouldn't be in the french countryside if you want that anyways. It is an older building...it's a chateau. The only downside is that dining there can be quite expensive, but you have anything you could need or want just around the corner in town anyways. Would a

Always special to stay in a Chateau and this one had pleasant grounds and a good aspect. There were not many visitors during our stay so it seemed tranquil and the staff were friendly. Our one reservation was that the breakfast was 15 euros each. For that we expected a superior quality and selection than the basics that were provided. Eating on the terrace was pretty special though.

Formidable!
Un lieu formidable dans lequel on se sent très serein, très calme. Le personnel est très professionnel. Les repas sont excellents et les prix ne sont pas excessifs. A recommander pour se faire vraiment plaisir!

Nous avions réservé une chambre a 180€, mais celle ci avait une odeur de peinture. Nous avons donc demandé à changer, (apres une reflexion de l’accueil sur le fait d’avoir réservé via un site au dernier moment) on nous indique qu’il n’y a plus de chambre a ce tarif et nous avons donc du prendre une chambre a 230€. Sans les petit dej. A ce prix la, une seule petite bouteille d’eau dans la chambre, pas de bouilloire pour un thé ou café (quand on sait qu’il n’y a rien autour pour faire de petites courses). Donc très chère pour ce que c’est! Meme si le parc est sympa. Concernant les repas, c’est tres bon, rien a dire et le cout est normal pour ce type d’hotel.

Extremely disappointing.
If you are not claustrophobic, then stay in room 33. You will be. Electricity permitting. It is defficient like quite some more functions of this hotel. The handyman is the only person it seems, who has ever heard about friendliness. Then of course, he had to pass by regularly. Passage to the bathroom was a joke. Disfunction thematic. Staff does its best at being unfriendly. No Wi-fi, though promised, available.

Spændende bygning. Man kan få en rigtig gourmet middag og det kan anbefales. Vær opmærksom på at der ikke er elevator og at alle værelser er på 1 og 2 sal.

Magnifique endroit
Cadre magnifique et très romantique, avec un grand parc et une très belle décoration intérieure, sur le thème de Sissi. Notre chambre, la plus économique, est très calme, mais manque de confort : Lit de 140, pas de sèche-cheveux pas de peignoirs alors que ceux-ci étaient mentionnés dans la réservation hotels.com. La télévision fonctionne très mal : signal insuffisant sur presque toutes les chaînes. Idem pour le wi-fi dans la chambre. Les verres n'ont pas été nettoyés durant notre séjour (3 nuits). Parking sous-dimensionné.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit Park
Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war von Beginn an sehr entspannend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Abends haben wir im Restaurant gespeist und das Essen war vorzüglich. Das Ambiente im Speisezimmer war sehr schön und gar nicht steif oder gezwungen. Man fühlte sich gut und wohl und das Essen war sehr sehr lecker.

Accueil glacial et impersonnel pour cette chambre promo (traditionnellement nous ne sommes pas des clients de ces lieux chics ,ce qu on nous a bien fait sentir en arrivant ) la chambre en promo etait digne d un hotel 2 etoiles.pour le tarif qui dépassait les 115 euros , nous regrettons cette opération et aurions préféré pour le tarif etre plutôt dans un hotel traditionnel 3 étoiles correct. De plus le petit déjeuner au prix de 16 euros par personne,son prix n était en rien justifié...le personnel de service était néanmoins très gentil et souriant.

Dormir em um castelo parece um sonho, mas sonho que pode ser realizado. O Château de Sissi conserva toda a magia e nós faz voltar aos tempos de quando a Imperatriz da Áustria veio passar uma temporada em Sassetot para restabelecer sua saúde e ficou residindo nesse Château. Fiquei em um dos quartos mais simples do hotel, bem pequeno, mas com uma cama bastante confortável. O banheiro também é bem pequeno, com pouco espaço, mas tudo funcionando muito bem. A única dificuldade é não ter elevador, o que torna o acesso ao segundo piso um pouco difícil caso o hóspede tenha algum problema de acessibilidade. Mas isto é perfeitamente compreensivo, afinal, estamos num castelo construído no século XVIII. Os jardins do Château são muito bonitos e ajuda a msnter a magia do local. Por fim, O staff do hotel é bastante simpático e acessível. Gostei da experiência e recomendo.

Service minimum Agréable mais sans plus. Il accompagne les autres guests à leur chambre et nous il nous remets la clef et nous dit "C'est au fond su couloir" Choquant ! L’hôtel est magnifiquement restauré, mais notre chambre était "minuscule" pour le prix c'est tout simplement scandaleux, pas de rangement, la TV tournée vers le mur ?! J'avais l'impression d'être chez les 7 nains. Le restaurant est parfait, pour le prix, je le recommande.
