We drove from Mexican Hat, Utah for a 2 day stay in Sedona. The hotel is located in Oak Creek south of Uptown Sedona. The room was clean, roomy and the beds were comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the room is not very insulated from the outside, you can hear cars driving by and people outside. The hotel is walking distance to several restaurants. Maria's across the street has authentic Mexican food in the Castle Rock Plaza and we ate there 3 times. One day we had an appointment with Danny at The Fallen Tattoo Asylum, which I highly recommend because his artwork is amazing. Bell Rock is very close by if you want to hike or hang out at the vortex. Shopping is not too far away. Go past Sedona on the 89A to the Dairy Queen where you will find Native American vendors selling jewelry. Make sure you go buy their wares and support them!
