We recently stayed in the property over the long Memorial Day weekend.
The location was fine, I gave 5 stars because the listing isn't inaccurate about where it is - but be mindful that it has the feeling of being "out there" and it is beyond the areas of Sebastopol where you feel like you are still within wine country. It has more of an essence of private, backwoods, or remote.
Another thing to be mindful of - be sure to have the check-in instructions downloaded to your phone before arriving, there is very limited cell service out there!
Our main complaint is that either the owner has pets or the prior guests had pets, but there was the lingering odor of wet dogs and pet dander. One of the kids was suffering horribly from allergies (had to go to grocery store in the middle of the night for medicine - we didn't have the items already because it has never been an issue before).
The hot water in the primary bedroom also didn't work so we all had to share the shower in the smaller bedroom.
All in all, wouldn't stay here again and would not recommend to others.
