    Description Beachside bungalow is situated at Salterns Village which is located on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Seaview on the Isle of Wight. Beachside bungalow is situated close to the beach which is ideal for walks along the sand at low ride. It is also adjacent to the Hersey Nature Reserve. The seafront footpaths allow for a leisurely half hour stroll towards Ryde, or a short 5 minutes walk into Seaview village. Accommodation The comfortable accommodation comprises a comfortable lounge with patio doors to the decking with its sea views. The lounge seating consists of a two-seater sofa, plus two comfortable chairs. A 32" television with freeview channels is available for your entertainment.. A folding dining table and four chairs is available and this may be wheeled out in the patio should you like to dine on the patio. The two bedrooms, one double and one twin, provide for what should be a good nights sleep in a quiet setting. Bedside lighting is available. The beds have duvets, with additional blankets available in the airing cupboard. The small kitchen is functional with a four ring electric cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer box, and toaster and kettle. The patio doors lead to the large decking area where you can enjoy the sea air and views, with an outside table available. Additional comfortable chairs are available for use on the decking area. The shower room is fully tiled with built-in shower, small wash basin and a push-flush WC. The parking area is adjacent to the bungalow. Pets are welcome at the bungalow. Bed linen is provided, but towels are not. Therefore, please ensure you bring enough, including for use on the beach. Changeover day is Saturday. Guests are kindly requested to vacate by 10.00am and not to arrive before 3:30pm. This is allow sufficient time for the housekeepers to make the bungalow spick and span. The Village of Seaview offers a few local shops and cafes, including a pharmacy, as well as the Fort public house and Seaview Hotel bar and restaurant that offers a range of food and drink options. The village is well known for its annual sailing regatta held during August. The event concludes with a lovely firework display and has become a very popular local event. Short breaks Short Breaks are available throughout the season, subject to availability.. Weekend Breaks usually consist of 3 nights (Fri-Mon), with Mid-Week Breaks of 4 nights (Mon-Fri). However, there can always be a degree of flexibility so please contact the owner for further information. Bookings In order for your booking to be confirmed, a 25% deposit will be required. A £100.00 (returnable) breakage/damage deposit will also be required which will be added to the total amount owing. The balance of all monies owed is required 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday. Should you be booking your holiday within 8 weeks of your holiday commencing, then all monies will be required when booking. Your breakage/damage deposit is normally returned within seven days of your departure. Guests are kindly requested to leave the property in the condition in which it was found at the start of their holiday. Getting to the Isle of Wight There are six routes to the Isle of Wight, which are run by three different operators, providing frequent crossings across the Solent. Wightlink operate a car/passenger ferry services between Portsmouth and Fishbourne as well as a crossing between Lymington and Yarmouth. Wighlink also operate a passenger-only ferry service between Portsmouth and Ryde. Red Funnel operate a car/passenger ferry service between Southampton and East Cowes, and also operate a 'High Speed' passenger ferry service between Southampton and West Cowes ( Hovertravel run high speed passenger hovercrafts between Southsea beach and Ryde. Sleeps 4 The Isle of Wight The Isle of Wight is situated approximately 3 miles off the southern coastline of England, opposite the cities of Southampton and Portsmouth. It is well known for its breathtaking scenery with much of the Island being designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Island has lovely coastlines, with a variety of sandy beaches and villages that have a good variety of pubs and restaurants. The largest town, Newport, has a very good range of retail outlets. The Island offers over 500 miles of maintained footpaths which makes it ideal for walkers and cyclists alike, as well as a road network to easily reach all parts of the island. The Isle of Wight website, is an excellent starting point to source information on the wide range of things to do while you are on holiday. Overall, the Island is a wonderful holiday destination, catering for all ages and with activities for all interests.

      Lovely location. Poor shower.

      The property is a lot smaller than expected. On arrival we had to ask for it to be cleaned again. This was done and a bottle of wine was left for us. However, the really big problem which the owner didn't address was the shower. It produced only a trickle of water. It was impossible to have a proper wash all week. I don't think it should be rented out without this being sorted out.


        Lovely location

        Perfect location, right on the seafront. Really nice setting. Bungalow itself pleasant but dated.


          Good impression from the outside and great location

          Great location but building could have been modernised slightly. We had ants when we arrived back after a day out. Cobwebs with lots of flies on around patio door handle on outside also we had to de cobweb the outside bench / seating area before using it. I don’t think it has been properly cleaned before us arriving as there were dogs hairs on the carpet so we ended up getting the hoover out. Felt a bit embarrassed compared to other cottages of the same style in the vicinity.

            Great Location, Clean Property, Would book again

            Booked this whilst our engineers were working in the area, lovely clean property, had everything they needed. Cleaners were great, couldn't fault this property. Owner is extremely helpful and great communication throughout, would definitely stop here again. Thank you
