Pros: It was within walking distance to a lot of great places.
Cons: The TV quality could be improved. TV was very grainy and not clear. They could have offered more channels like HGTV.
Location: Close to Pike's Place Market, to the theatre, to grocery stores, and to lots of great restaurants.
Spent one day and night in Seattle and had a wonderful time playing tourist. Was able to walk to Pike's Place, Wild Ginger, and Belle Epicurian from the Warwick Hotel. Even had a small grocery store across the street to get a few snacks and drinks. There is a movie theatre right across the street too. This is a great location.

Good hotel, shops and restaurants nearby.

Hotel fine overall, bathroom ceiling looked very tatty but room and rest of it was very clean. Balconies are only about a foot and a half deep - can just about stand out on them, was expecting more from the room description. Location good though, easy to walk into the centre for shopping and eating.

Gave Our Room to Other Travelers

Posted 22-Aug-2015
Pros: The manager on Saturday got us the type room I requested 2 beds, with a seat for the shower, a table for my C-Pap and leg pumps, and a microwave.
Cons: Do not rent out rooms that have been reserved in advance!!!!!
Location: There is a nice bakery, doughnut shop, candy store, restaurants, Space Needle and Monorail are close by. The Ducks are near and perfect for all ages.
After being up 23 hours, I was informed that the hotel did not have the room I request. The desk man said our information was not there. I spoke to hotel employees several times before our trip. My companion called twice to let the personnel know that all though we would be late, we were coming in that night. We were put in a room with one not two beds and no walk in shower. I can understand not getting both, but I had said I would be satisfied if we just got two beds. Ceiling had water (?) stains that had not been repaired. There was no bed side table that I had requested for my medical equipment. When I spoke to a manager the next morning there was a stain on the couch in the lounge area at the front of the hotel. I would have stood, but I am handicapped and can remain standing for short periods. The night desk clerk refused to look me in the eye when I was checking in at approximately 2 am Seattle time (4 am according to my body clock).

Great location

Posted 16-Aug-2015
Pros: location, location, location
Cons: YES! They must have FREE wifi, like the rest of the hotels in the US.
Location: Walking distance to all attractions and shopping in the area.
The hotel is old, but that does not mean is not good. It has been renovated were needed. They need to work on the employees they have at the reception desk, they really look like high school kids, not that well dressed, and no great manners. The bell boy gave us the wrong luggage, that is definitely not cool. They need work on that area too.

Great location

Posted 12-Aug-2015
Pros: Location, friendliness of restaurant personnel, nice menu selection and good food.
Cons: Bathroom door was banged up at the bottom and could use repair and paint.
Location: Great location. Within walking distance of Pike Place Market, Space Needle and shopping. Great restaurants nearby.
The location is near Pike Market, Space Needle and other fun things. Restaurant has good menu selection and food and the wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom door could use paint and very small repairs. Overall a wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend to friends and stay there again ourselves.

Disgusting Hotel

Posted 10-Aug-2015
Pros: There was nothing redeeming about the hotel. The location is fine but not great and some of the staff were nice although they lied about the refund.
Cons: They need to actually clean, use sheets without stains or hair on them, make sure they freshen rooms so that non-smoking rooms don't smell of smoke
Location: Fine location -- close to Pike Place Market
We were travelling to Seattle to visit friends and had limited options when booking hotels. The Warwick was the only hotel left in the downtown area. It was very expensive but we figured it would be fun to stay in a nice place. When we arrived in our room we were disappointed and disgusted. The room itself was ugly and completed outdated but that wasn't even the issue. The real problem was that it smelled like stale cigarette smoke, the sheets looked and smelled dirty, and the bathroom was filthy. We went back downstairs to speak with the front desk to ask for our money back. They told us that because we had booked our stay through Expedia, they weren't able to give us any money back. This turned out to be a complete lie. Instead they told us they could put us in a suite. We continued to say that we would just prefer our money back but they told us they weren't able to do that. We went up to the suite and it was just as smelly and filthy as the first room, only larger. At that point we were tired from travelling and so we told them it was fine. The next day we went downstairs and asked if they could do something about the smell. They assured us they would take care of it. When we got back later that day it was no better and the bathroom was still dirty. I called Expedia when we returned and they told me that they couldn't do anything to refund us or help in any way. This was an incredibly disappointing and upsetting experience/waste of money.
