Chaos

Posted 21-Sep-2016
Not enough staff, the hotel was over packed and the parking lot was full. After paying 600 dollars for a room for one night, they could at least provide a parking spot (which I know I still had to pay for, but at least it wouldn't have been blocks away), and not a 15 minute wait for an elevator. I asked a staff member who was swamped w customers bc she had no help to point me to the stairs, to walk 15 floors, and her reply was they were only for emergencies. Personally, I do not like elevators, especially after waiting 15 minutes and there are 15 people trying to pack into one after having to wait so long. Never in my life have I been told I couldn't take the stairs. This place was total chaos, and expensive. I do not recommend.

Nice Hotel closely located to many attractions

Posted 21-Sep-2016
Pros: Spacious rooms. Good views. Clean.
Cons: Communications between staff.
Myself and two other girlfriends stayed one night in this hotel. The hotel staff was very pleasant. However, the hotel itself was undergoing some construction, which was not noted when I made my reservations. We got there early and asked that they hold our bags as our room was not done so that we could wonder the city. They noted account that once room was ready they would have bags delivered to the room and call my cell phone once room was ready. We returned to the hotel at about 3:45 and was told the room was in fact ready. We inquired about luggage and the staff member was unable to let us know if it was delivered or not but assured us that he would call and get it sent up. We waited about 30 minutes and it still had not arrived so we headed back out. When returned later that night at 11:15; we still did not have our luggage. We had to go back down to the lobby and retrieve our luggage from the bell hop. Other than that rather inconvenient part of the stay, and the construction. The hotel staff and stay was overall pleasant. I would give this hotel another try in the future.

Nice hotline downtown Seattle

Beautiful rooms and nice staff. Biggest problems was the unusually long waits for the elevators. We waited about 5 minutes at least twice and 3-5 minutes several more times.

Pros: Location!! Also the room was very clean and very nicely designed.
Cons: The check in/out was quite a process since they never had more than 1 person at a desk. I stood on line for 15-20 minutes just to check in/out.
Location: Pike Place, Pioneer Square, plenty of shopping like Zara, Sephora, Macy's, H&M and Old Navy. Great location!
Great place! Steps away from Pike Place and Pioneer Square. Also a lot of great stores all around the hotel. I will stay here every time I come to Seattle. Loved the room and the beds were very comfortable. My only complaint was the check in/out process was slow since they only ever had 1 person working the desk. Also the house keeping didn't clean our room 100% for our second day BUT I told the front desk and they refunded me the house keeping fee for that day. All and all, I loved my stay here and I will be coming back!

A great stay, conveniently located

Posted 14-Sep-2016
Pros: Super convenient spot since we were in town for a convention and some sight-seeing. Clean, comfortable room. Delicious breakfast room service.
Cons: Shower could use a better curtain.
Location: Very convenient to Washington State Convention Center. Within walking distance to Pike Place Market. Short cab ride to other tourism locales.
I'm going to start this by adding that you should take this review with a grain of salt; my friend and I spent most of our trip out in the city, so our experience with the hotel was fairly superficial. We arrived during some renovations to the facade, but that didn't take away from our stay, everything was clean (no extraneous tools/materials/debris) and nothing was "off limits" due to the construction. Pretty impressive, actually! The room was very clean and aesthetically pleasing (decor, lighting, etc.). The bathroom was spacious and the shower had a head with multiple output settings (not earth-shattering, but a nice touch). Just put a towel down outside the tub; the curtain doesn't always do the best job of keeping the water in. Whenever we left for the day, we'd place the "please clean the room" placard outside the door, and the housekeeping staff had the room looking like new when we got back. We travel with electronics, so we were also pleased to see that they were careful not to move or otherwise jostle the laptop, tablet and peripherals we left out to charge, even the ones placed in locations previous occupied by, say, a spare cushion or the coffee tray. We didn't get a chance to avail ourselves of the other amenities but saw several other guests do so who seemed pleased with them. There was a particular buzz from people visiting Frolic. Seems like it was a popular spot.
