this hotel is great for doing the tourist bit in seattleas it is very central but my room had a monorail yards away on one side and the lifts feet away on the other so at times was very noisy but thats just one of those things the staff were excellent and did whatever they could to make things easier

Pros: Very appealing furnishing, inviting bed and clean rooms.
We had a brief stay at the Hotel Five due to a flight delay. Without a doubt, we would have enjoyed it more with a longer stay. Our late-night check-in was handled professionally and with a smile.

Completely Blown Away

Posted 17-Jan-2016
Pros: I liked the casual, laid-back atmosphere of the hotel. It was relaxing and welcoming from start to finish.
Cons: It would have been nice if the housekeeping staff got to our room earlier in the day.
Location: This hotel is within walking distance of Pike Place Market, the first Nordstrom store, Olympic Sculpture Park, the Space Needle, and the EMP Museum.
From the moment we got out of our Uber and an employee ran up to our car to grab our bags and warmly welcome us I knew we had the right choice. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful (especially when we were looking for some late-night food) and they were easy to find when we needed them. The hotel itself is incredibly unique and reminds me of a New York City apartment building. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we could have needed, including a Keurig to make ourselves tea and coffee before we headed out exploring the city. Since I booked through Expedia I even had a few unexpected benefits like a $10 credit for the cafe in the lobby and the opportunity for free on-site parking. I didn't know that these were coming but they were pleasant surprises!. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to my friends and family if they were travelling to Seattle.

Cute boutique hotel in funky Belltown

Posted 05-Jan-2016
Clean, cool and cute small boutique hotel in a great location! It's small and doesn't have a pool or bar but its in a great location, the rooms are cool and funky and the beds are so comfortable! There is a nice sitting area in the lobby and small little cafe that serves a yummy breakfast. Staff are friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Seattle!

trendy hotel

Posted 04-Jan-2016
Pros: Almost everything...free wifi, free cupcakes, free shuttle, nice comfy room, trendy and updated. Perfect for a younger crowd.
Cons: They should add a small refrigerator in the room.
The room was great, the staff very friendly, and there were free cupcakes every day. They have a free shuttle service, which was super convenient, so there is no need for a taxi. They have free wifi and only charge $20 per day for a car.

Great location for New Year's Eve

Posted 03-Jan-2016
Ultra cool boutique hotel on 5th Avenue really close to shops and the space needle. Stayed for two nights over New Year. Easy to walk to all the main tourist attractions and shopping. The duvets and bathroom were great. The hotel had thought of all the extras you may need - they had even included an umbrella for those Seattle showers and there was even a cute Husky cuddly toy in the room.

New Years Eve at The Five

Posted 02-Jan-2016
The bedding was amaising; super comfy. Only issue was the barking dogs next door, but the staffed moved them to another room (end room)! Super job, staff! I was worried we would have barking dogs all night long.
