centralt beläget,nära till city och hamnen

Posted 04-May-2016

Pros: it was different.
Cons: Room design.
Location: Great location.
Very nice. The hotel staff tried hard to please. Our only complaint was the room design, With 2 big beds, there was not enough room left over in the room to move in a sensible manner. The beds were also facing a big blank wall that was at least 20'in length. It should have had some art on it to break up the monotony.

Great Staff free Shuttle...

Posted 27-Apr-2016
Pros: Artwork. Cupcakes. Staff.
Cons: Internet. Room maintenance.
Location: Eat at Local 360 (Chocolate crème brulee is a must) Register to take a glass making class. Walk to the market place or take the free shuttle.
Hotel staff was friendly, helpful and excellent. The free shuttle was excellent and the drivers were friendly and always early or on time . The room was spacious, clean but not very well maintained. Had many small issues that added up to aggravation. The hotel is within walking distance to Local 360 and the food there was 5 stars. The hotel is also within walking distance to an amazing glass making school. The area and atmosphere is better suited for a younger crowd. Internet was slow. Heard police sirens 3 out of 4 nights and more than once a night. Parking was very narrow and difficult to maneuver but cheaper than most hotels in the area.

Great location with unique vibe

Posted 20-Apr-2016
Pros: Comforters on bed, bathroom, overall look of hotel, and location.
Cons: Staff could be more professional and amiable.
Location: Space Needle, EMP Museum, Pike's Place Market, Chihuly Museum, etc.
The location of this hotel is walking distance to many tourist attractions: Space Needle, EMP Museum, Pike's Place Market, Chihuly Museum, etc. There's cupcakes every day at 3pm, fruit-infused water, and coffee. The hotel rooms are comfortable and quirky. The one area for improvement is the staff--I'd rate their customer service 3/5.

Walking distance or short über/Lyft ride

Posted 20-Apr-2016
to everywhere in Seattle. It was our first time in Seattle, so we wanted to be in a prime downtown location. We were greeted by friendly staff. Our flight arrived earlier in the day and they gave us an early check in. Thanks for that! Highly recommend. The room was clean, updated, and comfortable.

Everything we expected and more!

Pros: The Hotel Five staff were very friendly and provided excellent hospitality from the moment we walked through their doors!
Cons: A bit better lighting in the bathrooms. I know looks aren't everything, but how am I supposed to pick up the ladies looking like Alfafa.
Location: The Seattle Space Needle located in Seattle Center is about a 7min walk away in one direction(North) Pikes Place Market is a 7min walk to the west.
From the moment I had considered Hotel Five, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Being an avid baseball fan I wanted to see multiple Mariners games, which meant I had to find a reasonably priced, well located hotel. I had a few questions regarding the location and how to get to the stadium and the staff was very prompt in replying to any email. And gave great information for alternative transportation. Also, being that one of the games was an afternoon game, we would be arriving in Seattle earlier than the standard Check-in time (4:00pm) I had requested an early Check-in and the staff assured me that even if they did not have a room available by the time we got there, they would secure our bags and let us park the car. (it is very expensive to park close to the stadiums on game days) Once we arrived at 11:00am, they did have a room ready for us and we were able to get right in and have a quick peek around the quaint, yet cozy room. My son and I, who is 9, shared a queen size bed and with the European Duvets, this works quite well as he kicks and is a blanket hog :) Our room was located on the second floor of the 5th Avenue side and there were a lot of previous negative comments regarding the noise coming from the street. Being that is a downtown hotel in a major city, I didn't find it overly loud and even slept with the window open one night of the two we stayed there. Great hotel! I will be coming back to Hotel Five. PS. The cupcakes and Pineapple water is amazing!
