Hand Picked!

Posted 07-Dec-2016
Pros: Location, decor, and friendly staff
My husband and I decided to go on a weekend trip to Seattle and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. The location was walking distance to the waterfront, Pike Place Market, and only 1.5 miles from the Space Needle, also walked it with my husband. The staff was extremely friendly and ready to help with any questions or concerns. We even enjoyed a few drinks at Boka's bar, and had a great time chatting with the staff there, as well.

Great downtown location

Overall good experience. Hotel staff was very friendly and our room was clean. Disappointed that we had to wait 40 min to get in our room (after arriving past check in time). They were kind and gave us each a drink ticket so we could relax in the hotel bar. Room view was a little disappointing - looked directly into a business tower but its a gamble when you don't pay for the upgraded experience.

Modern hotel near Pike Place and convention center

Posted 20-Nov-2016
Pros: Location, modern look, comfort
Cons: Speed of room service late at night, when needed most, and ensuring all the bathroom faucets are functioning properly.
Location: Pike Place is very close by. Also some amazing restaurants just blocks away - I just hit Yelp up and was in heaven!
Great hotel - checked in originally into a room with two queens (although one king was requested) as they were out of them for the night. Would have just stayed, except the noise from garbage trunks dumping the huge dumpsters (sounds of awful metal scraping) woke me up the next morning at 7:30 am, after i had gotten in near midnight. so switched to a room on the opposite side, same floor (i believe it was considered an upgrade, as i now had an water view) - much better and quieter. except the bath tub faucet (from the ceiling) spattered EVERYWHERE, and my entire bathroom floor and walls were drenched after filling the tub. they think an aerator is to blame. other than that, wonderful room. also, the night i arrived, i had ordered room service - just grilled cheese and a soup - tasted great, but took over an hour to arrive, as i was almost ready to give up and just go to sleep.

Lots of little issues with room (leaking, spots on ceiling, hair dryer not working). Front desk staff were not 4/5 star quality.

Seattle Getaway

The staff at Hotel 1000 are fantastic. Friendly and always available. We needed to check in early (traveling with our toddler). Not only did they accommodate our early check-in with a smile, they upgraded us to the top floor with an amazing view. Awesome room service, valet crew, and location. The hotel is in walking distance to everything. Will stay there every time.

Great downtown hotel!

Posted 11-Nov-2016
Pros: It's central location & friendly staff. Loved the tub in the bathroom & the amenities provided.
Cons: An adjustable spray on the shower head. If there was an adjustment, my husband & I were unable to change it.
Location: It's close to Pioneer Square, lots of restaurants, shopping & Pike's Place is within walking distance. The Underground Tour was also very close.
We spent 3 nights at this hotel. The room was spacious & comfortable. Very comfortable bed, too. I loved the tub, with the unique fill system, but didn't like the shower head. I was unable to turn down the pressure of the spray & found it to be uncomfortable hard. I was glad the bellman warned us of the touchy mini-bar/snack system. I wouldn't wish to be charged for items we did not use because they had been moved. The staff were wonderful & concerned for our comfort, remembering us from day to day. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to students or those traveling on a budget. This is an expensive hotel, however, they made up for it with excellent service. Overall, it was a great stay.

Great location, bad view

Posted 11-Nov-2016
Pros: This hotel is really nice for a smaller hotel. It is close to everything, the staff are great, the room was nice and the valet parking was convenient.
Cons: The view from the room was not good. Maybe we just didn't choose a room with a view.
Location: PIle place, the public house, post alley, the ferry, space needle was within walking distance.

Excellent hotel!

Posted 11-Nov-2016
Pros: Concierge service, location, bar, rooms, bathrooms. Not much NOT to like!
Location: Pike's Market, dining, shopping, sports arena, airport, local attractions. Great location!
Very close to all downtown attractions, restaurants, sports stadium. Great area for shopping, people watching, walking around, dining. Excellent concierge! Excellent staff. Received champagne glass each evening at front desk. Great bar, reading room, and "chill out" area near lobby. Would highly recommend this hotel!
