Pleasant, close to everything

Posted 26-Sep-2016
Pros: Location, price.
Cons: Not really, just an older, smaller hotel.
Location: Library, buses, you could walk to all the sights!
It was a decent room for the price, nothing special, small. But right across from the famous Library, and within walking distance of everything!

Pros: 立地
Location:

Downtown & in walking distance

Posted 18-Sep-2016
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff
Cons: The smell from the bathroom was strong and terrible.
Location: The hotel is in walking distance to the Pike Market, 1st Starbucks, Art Museum, Waterfront.....
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The light Train Station to the airport is one block away. The Pike Market, 1st Starbucks, Art Museum, Waterfront, Ferries are also not so fare and in walking distance to the hotel. The only thing I didn't really liked was the terrible smell from the bathroom.

Bathroom Remodel Poorly Planned

Posted 16-Sep-2016
Our room(809) bathroom was weird With the toilet jammed in the corner Almost under the sink! It was so low You could hardly sit on it...thank God My wife and I are thin. Beautiful tile work in the shower and the staff were helpful. It could of been so much better.

In desperate need of an update

Posted 10-Sep-2016
Pros: They had a nice TV in the room and brought a mini fridge up when we asked.
I'll give credit where credit is due. The staff of the hotel were very nice and mostly competent at their job. There was a couple times where we didn't get enough towels when they cleaned the room however. This hotel is in desperate need of an update as it is from the 1920's. If you're here for a night or two with none or one other person the hotel will be fine but if you're here for several nights you'll start to notice it's quirks. There's no fan in the bathrooms so it gets very steamy very quickly. If you have three or more people in a room space starts to be an issue. There is almost no counter space to set anything down and walking around each other is next to impossible with suitcases against the wall. The drain in the bathtub was also clogged so every time I had a shower I had ankle high water at my feet. The walls are thin and we could hear our neighbor's conversations no problem. The doors inside the room itself are probably the original doors so they're not soundproof and squeak very badly. They also had one elevator working at the time of my visit so it would sometimes take over five minutes for the elevator to reach the 5th floor. It's a fine hotel if you're staying a night or two but if you're staying longer you're not going to have the best time. I can't recommend this hotel to anyone and I won't be back the next time I'm in Seattle. There's better hotels for the price they're asking.

Nice hotel excellent location

So much shopping and eating was accessible by foot! The link system was a few blocks away so everything was conveniently accessible. Great price for location as well

False image online of double room suite we paid for versus what we stayed in. Also view out of windows was brick wall and parking garage. Too noisy. Staff was professional
