Close in downtown
Tiny bathroom almost a joke. Had to squeeze against sink/shower to close door. Toilet nearly impossible to use due to tiny space. Not a single clothes hook in entire room or bath, toss robe in sink while in shower? Water pressure so low it took twice normal time to rinse soap in shower.
Maid service very poor, dirty linen left on floor & no clean towels left one day. Left dirty cups/glasses in room & did not replenish coffee service another day.
Only one chair in room, no space for a second one anyway. This room too small for 2 people, more suited to a single business person.
Safe in the tiny closet a nice touch though.

Thank you TR for sharing your thoughts. I'm happy to hear our guest service staff was top notch. They really do take pride in making sure every guest feels welcomed and that any issues that pop up are resolved quickly and completely. It sounds like you booked one of our smaller room types. As a historic hotel we have a larger variety of room sizes than your typical contemporary property, but we certainly strive to make sure our smallest rooms are an unbeatable value for the downtown area. If you're ever in the area again, I know one of our friendly desk agents or bellmen would love to take you on a little tour of a couple different room types to make sure we find the size that best fits your needs.
