Less than what it appears

Posted 26-Jul-2016
Pros: location was central to downtown
Cons: improve staff interaction with guests.
Overall we were disappointed with the hotel and the room, staff seemed ambivalent to us as guests with the exception of the Bellman who went out of his way to accommodate our request for a taxi. The lobby is tiny with the elevator down a flight of stairs that requires one to carry their bags down the stairs or outside around the corner and through the pizza restaurant adjoining the lobby on the lower level, very awkward. The room was very small, small as is you need to turn sideways to get around the bed to the other side to adjust the a/c. The bathroom was even smaller, you have to sit sideways on the toilet as the door is in the way of your legs. The room was clean however the curtains had black mold on the bottom. The room had no fridge, no closet and was very dark.

Seattle Dowtown Rip-off

Posted 24-Jul-2016
Unbelievable the terrible hotel we got for 250 dollars a night. It was old, dark, dirty, we could hear our neighbors, terrible bed, pillows, AC. The shower had no door nor courtain, the bathroom floor (all 9sqft) got all wet. The toilet was 1/2 inch separated from the sink and maybe 4 inches from the wall making it extremely uncomfortable to sit on it. This was part of our honey moon, we stayed at 10 different hotels from San Francisco to Vancouver BC, this was both the worst and most expensive. The location was OK to be fair. Total rip-off.

Wanted to be downtown within walking distance of attraction and this hotel was perfect. The coffee shop downstairs was perfect.

Pros: Convenience and feel of an older establishment.
Location: Ideal for business in central Seattle.
This is a very conveniently located hotel in downtown Seattle. It is an older facility with no breakfast room attached. The price is good. Ideal for a short stay without a car. A bit old-fashioned with small rooms but well maintained and useful as well as quiet.

Work Conference

Posted 14-Jul-2016
Pros: The staff, Anthony and the front desk gang! Repair man (fixed our door)! House Keeping!
Cons: Bottled water every day, larger bathroom (can't be helped now), plumbing debris.
Location: Downtown Seattle, the sky is the limit!
I and a colleague stayed in separate rooms for a work conference in town, my wife stayed in my room with me as well. The staff was outstanding! Aside from that, the place just feels kind of cramped. The bathrooms are exceptionally small and awkward with little black pieces of debris accompanying an of the water faucets and toilets. You only get bottled water upon check in. The rooms are quaint which is fine, and there was no mini fridge (we were both on 5th floor) in either room for our leftovers etc. These were small things that add up but it was hard to be too disappointed with such a great staff in such a fun city.

Very friendly and professional staff. Small rooms and few amenities but overall quite nice.
