The staff were amazing. The room perfect, and clean. The only thing that knocked the rating to a 4 star was the breakfast. The food was not good. The breakfast use to be great, now fake scrambled eggs, cold/dry potatoes and the cook to order line was so long. Don’t know why they would have made such a terrible change.

Key cards weren’t working so we had to keep going back down to the front desk to get them re-keyed. One of the elevators wasn’t working either & the hotel was very busy so had to wait for the elevator. However, the hotel is very clean, spacious rooms & excellent breakfast.

Overall the property is very nice. They are just completing renovations in the common areas. There is definitely some wear and tear noticeable in the hallway areas: scuffed wall paint, doors with dents in them, etc. The room itself was quiet and comfortable. There is a convenience store less than a block away. Handy for snack, drinks and a variety of “Adult Beverages”. Should note that their hotel shuttle is no longer complimentary. I was charged $9 per direction, which seems extremely pricey for a 10 minute van ride!

As always, the room was spotless and well appointed. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was awesome. Parking being $20/day is pretty high considering where this hotel is located, and having three elevators but only one in operation were downsides, but I always have a good stay at Embassy Suites.

The breakfast was amazing, made to order omelettes! The room was fine, just nothing special. Myself and another guest checking in were both frustrated with what we thought was free parking that actually was $30 (courtesy not complementary) which we both might have chosen somewhere else. And there were maintenance restrictions on the elevators and closed laundry facilities. It felt safe, but not worth the upscale cost.
