From the minute we walked in we had a great experience. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The place was absolutely spotless. I am very hard to pleAse when it comes to cleanliness in a hotel. They had nice extras like microwave popcorn in the room and bikes we were able to use for no additional cost (I did look up rentals, they could be as much as $75 a day. If you want a great place to stay this is it!
In town for the Seahawks Monday night game. Got caught up in traffic and arrived around 4 to discover no rooms available. New staff member perplexed and suggested a one hour wait was in order. After discussion, time delay down to 10 minutes. Staff accommodating and cheerful. Room showing its age and eclectic history of the building. Room comfortable otherwise. Temperature moderation a bit of an adventure. Neighborhood great with lots of options for eateries and a casual drink. Away from the mainstream downtown hustle and bustle.
"Older Hotel-Good for Price-Next to Seattle Center"
Older hotel that could use some upgrades. That said, the staff was super helpful and it was right next to the Seattle Center (Space Needle, Chihuly Museum, Pacific Science Center, etc.). Good for the price. Worked for me since I only needed a crash pad to fly tourist and catch a Mariners game.
"Great Location. An awesome breakfast and lunch. "
Parking I would say is the only issue. Very expensive to park but the breakfast experience made up for it. Great location. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. I would stay here again!
the only thing we did not like about this hotel was there were always people smoking in front of the hotel lobby doors. every time we arrived or left we held our breath as we got ready to exit or enter.
the hotel and staff were great and really made a nice vacation in downtown seattle
The iconic Space Needle is at Seattle Center, a two-minute monorail ride from downtown. Both train and tower were built for the 1962 World's Fair. The Seattle Center offers opera, ballet, and theater, as well as the Key Arena, the Pacific Science Center, and Experience Music Project. Nearby, the nine-acre Olympic Sculpture Park offers respite amid a waterfront view of the Olympic Mountains.
