It was ok, just needed a place to stay for the night while in the process of moving. Walls don't have any sound insulation so you can hear everything. A drunk couple came back to the room next to me and started arguing at 4 am. It woke me up from a deep sleep and sounded like they were standing right next to me. If that is something you can tolerate then the room should work out.
My partner and I stayed for one night to attend the Seahawks game. The hotel was beyond expectations. Free parking is definitely a plus! We were able to check in several hous early, which was awesome! The room was clean and comfortable. There are several great features in the room, such as a Keurig machine, fridge, microwave and safe. Also a stuffed dog :). The lobby had coffee and cupcakes... the creamer and milk were empty, but it was almost 11 am. They even offer a shuttle to Pioneer Square.
We both highly recommend the hotel and Pineapple brand to others.
The Maxwell hotel is a stunning 140 room property. Featuring two room types with King or two Queen size beds, the rooms are …More
Great historic hotel in Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. Walking distance to many restaurants and about 0.5 miles from a beautiful overlook of the city (Kerry Park). Had complimentary breakfast in on-site restaurant (bagel and yogurt). Rooms were spacious and clean. About a 10 minute drive to downtown Seattle.
The hotel is in a great location! Especially if you are into public transportation as there's a bus stop on the corner right outside the main doors! The hotel itself could use some upgrades but overall it was clean, quiet and convenient! The customer service was the best I've experienced! High praises for Ebony and Dwight at the front desk! If they're working during your stay they will make sure you're taken care of and always make sure to say hi when they see you come in and out. The breakfast is okay, nothing stellar but it will hold you over. Be sure to check out everything including the AC/Heat. It's an older hotel so just our luck the heat wasn't working but we didn't realize it until shortly before check out. Customer service made the few things that could be better with the hotel worth it. Will definitely stay here again!
The iconic Space Needle is at Seattle Center, a two-minute monorail ride from downtown. Both train and tower were built for the 1962 World's Fair. The Seattle Center offers opera, ballet, and theater, as well as the Key Arena, the Pacific Science Center, and Experience Music Project. Nearby, the nine-acre Olympic Sculpture Park offers respite amid a waterfront view of the Olympic Mountains.
