I had a 6 night stay. The hotel was very comfortable. Its location is close to all I wanted to experience as a visitor to the area. I was so pleased that I could walk or catch public transportation to all the major city attractions. Day trip companies picked up at this location. I felt safe in the area.
I experienced great fresh food prepared well all around this hotel as well as all over Seattle. There was a wide range of food pricing. The continental breakfast served with delicious coffee in the bar was just the right size to begin a day. A neighborhood full grocery and pharmacy were only block away.
I experienced relative quiet there. The hotel staff called me by name and were nicely attentive to needs.
The hotel was beautiful, clean and conveniently located to major attractions. My husband, unfortunately was allergic to the sheets and comforter and woke up every night itching/developed contact dermatitis the whole length of our stay. The hotel staff/ management did their best to resolve the situation. Except for my husband, the rest of the family thought the beds were very comfortable.

The Maxwell hotel is a stunning 140 room property. Featuring two room types with King or two Queen size beds, the rooms are …More
I've stayed here several times as it's cheaper than anywhere else round Seattle Center and the location is great. However, it's really just a place to sleep, not to spend any time in - low lighting in room no good to read by, bath taps wouldn't turn off, and windows filthy. Beds ok and room clean enough. Price outrageous as Canadian $ so low at present, but cheaper than elsewhere. I'll probably continue to stay here when going to opera while exchange rate so bad, but there are much nicer places nearby. Metropolitan Market down street excellent, good Thai restaurants, and Mecca Café on Queen Anne for breakfast.
I was pleasantly surprised by our stay. Quick, easy check in with Silvia (and cookies!) I asked for a quiet room, so we were on the side with the small road, on top floor and we could see the top of the Space Needle from our window. We had a huge room, with king bed and sofa bed in separate living area. Kitchenette came in handy. The full breakfast had good selections, and on weekdays they have an evening reception which was actually dinner! I didn't like paying for parking, but at least it was very secure and the meals were included. The bed was REALLY comfortable. Space Needle & that area is walkable...about 4 blocks, some is uphill. We took a cab to Pike's Market for about 8 bucks and that was worth it. I would definitely stay here again.
The iconic Space Needle is at Seattle Center, a two-minute monorail ride from downtown. Both train and tower were built for the 1962 World's Fair. The Seattle Center offers opera, ballet, and theater, as well as the Key Arena, the Pacific Science Center, and Experience Music Project. Nearby, the nine-acre Olympic Sculpture Park offers respite amid a waterfront view of the Olympic Mountains.
