"Well furnished inside, great fenced back area for dog/shade, easy to keep cool inside on hot days, nice that chairs/umbrella/beach items were supplied along with a pull cart. Loved the coffee & gift shop right across the street. Only drawback was it was so close to the by-pass road in terms of noise, but it was great for convenience."

"The cottage was great and the location even better. All you need for a memorable and affordable vacay in the OBX. I've been coming to the outer banks for 40 years and had never eaten at Tortugas. Since it was located directly across the street, we took advantage of it's proximity. Delicious! "
