To be honest, I was a little taken back when we arrived. It is a motel, not a hotel. I asked to see a room before committing. The room was basic but very clean and updated. It looked and smelled very clean. It had laminate flooring that was immaculate, fresh bedding, fresh paint and a very clean bathroom. The rooms were very quiet. We’ve stayed in much more expensive hotels where we could hear every sound our neighbors made. We could hear no sounds from our neighbors and very few sounds from outside. The staff was extremely courteous and thoughtful. I locked myself out of my room and the front desk was so kind and helpful. I was looking for the ice machine and the housekeeping lady walked me to it. I felt like they valued their guests and wanted make sure we had a good stay. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for value, cleanliness and nice people this is a great place! I arrived with a lot of doubts and left with a warm feeling.

It was horrible, I did not feel safe, people were fighting and slamming doors, I did not sleep for 2 days, the guy staying next to me hit my car and damaged it and took off so I had to call the cops, I was in town for my sons College Graduation and it was supposed to be a good weekend and it wasn’t, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, they also did not give me clean towels, I would like some money back since I have to fix my car now

The room was clean and everything worked. Good water pressure and the heater worked very well to keep is warm in sub 40 temps. TV options were limited, but the wifi was good and strong. We were visiting a nearby college and this was very convenient. The lady who cleaned our room was very friendly. Check in was easy and friendly too. There are many good eating options within a short distance. If you are looking for a basic motel style place to stay with friendly staff and convenient location you won't go wrong here.

The hotel was very worn looking. The bed was uncomfortable and was on a metal base which made noises every time I turned trying to get comfortable. The staff was friendly when I checked in but couldn’t be found when I went to check out. The front door was even locked at 8:30 a.m. There was a bit of noise on Friday night but other than that, it was pretty quiet. The room was clean, and for that I’m thankful.

The room was so hot. Turned the air on and it nearly blew. The a/c unit sits in a part of the room that makes it cut off every time it reaches where they have preset it. The room was not very clean and the soap smelled horrible.

I selected this property because of the price, and was very skeptical. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was very well taken care of for an older motel. And it was as clean as I have ever seen. My husband and I had just stayed in the Menger Hotel in San Antonio a few weeks ago. This was of course not as nice but was very close. Would definitely stay there again.

I showed up at M Star hotel lady at the front desk was rude I was told by one of the other employees her name was tree that I would have a smoking room available they were supposed to switch it for me they never did then the lady at the front desk got rude with me about it then offered me one bed in one room that was smoking that's not what I reserved charge me an early check in fee of 25.00 which was not specified on your website then was going to charge me at $50 cash deposit for a non-smoking room which already had reservations why would I have to pay a deposit they told me they were going to fix this a day before I showed up and get me a smoking room and I showed up didn't get a smoking room then they try to offer me a room for me and my father with just one bed in it that was a smoking room which is not what I reserved online I was very unhappy with their service my key card didn't work I had to go back up to the front desk me and my father were down there for a memorial service and the lady at the front and desk was just plain rude

The breakfast area was not a breakfast area, it was a storage place for boxes and lawn equipment. The room was dirty and smelled bad. The lock on my door was broken. The people in the rooms around mine made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. I checked in and out within almost immediately. There is a no refund policy.

Good check in. Room was clean, bed comfortable. AC only cooled after 8 hrs on 61* with a fan blowing to distribute, but ok afterward. No lamps on night stands and light switch by the door turned on 6 "spot lights" on the ceiling. But for the price it was a decent stay.

An old school motel. Small but nice enough room. TINY tile shower stall with MOLD. Mildew smell got worse as the night wore on. If they would get rid of the mold and stank it would be a great cheap sleep.

To start with the good things - the owners were friendly and helpful. Also, despite the hotel having no vacancies, I don't think I ever heard a peep from the neighbors, so that's good. Also, this hotel is right on the main road so it was easy to get to everything. Now, onto the bad. The hotel rooms look absolutely nothing like the photos. Like, nothing at all. I think maybe a couple rooms have that paint job and set up and that's it. Ours sure did not. The beds are really hard and not super comfortable. The shower is just a small stand up shower, no bathtub. The floors were super dirty and I guess they just don't mop them because I had on new socks and walking for a few minutes around the room turned them brown. The lights situation was annoying too, you could either have all the lights on or none of them on, there were no lamps or anything. All in all, it was an okay stay. Nothing fancy, no frills. Just be prepared for dirty socks and rooms that don't actually look anything like the photos.

Well the flies in the room were disgusting cuz there were so many. When they come to clean your room and you say no thank you, that does not mean come back every 20 minutes. They kept waking me up doing this. Not once, not twice but three times in an hour period. On a good note, the shower pressure was phenomenal even in such a tiny shower. And the fridge didnt work cuz it was so iced over.

When we arrived to check in we were told our rom was not available due to water issues. They did not have another room available with 2 beds. The receptionist was very pleasant, but in the end, we were told that Searcy had a lot of hotels and we shouldn't have trouble finding a room. I do feel they should have found us a comparable room at another hotel instead of us scrambling around doing the work.
