Relaxing has never been easier than enjoying the time spent on the screened porch of this multi-level 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa. You will be captivated by the natural beauty of Seabrook Island as it unfolds before you! The primary bedroom is on the first level. Highlights include king bed, Smart TV, and access to a private covered deck with 2 chaise lounge chairs. The perfect place to hang out and read a book or watch for shrimp boats and kayakers. The full bath has a separate sink/vanity area and walk-in shower. There are also new full-size washer and dryer on this level for your convenience. Six steps up take you to the guest bedroom with a king bed, Smart TV and en- suite bath. This bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The next level is 8 steps up and opens up to the large living room area with vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan and Smart TV. The living room has access to the screened porch with plenty of seating and a definite coastal flair. It is hard to describe the delight of experiencing the incomparable views that the low country is famous for. Many books have been inspired by these gorgeous surroundings. Adjacent to the screened porch is a small uncovered deck perfect for soaking up some sun. Six steps up bring you to the dining area with seating for 6 and the adjacent kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with new stainless steel appliances and partially open to the living room below giving it a lofty feel. Another wonderful feature is the access to the community dock which is a peaceful place to wander and explore. There is also a neighborhood pool that is in a beautiful, private setting just down the street. This is an ideal location with easy access to the Racquet Club, Equestrian Center, Lake House and bike path. Seabrook Islands 3.5 miles of beautiful beach is just a short car or bike ride away, as well as the Beach Club and Island House. This terrific vacation property is also pet friendly for (1) dog. If you are traveling with your dog, a Pet Agreement must be signed and the additional non-refundable Pet Fee/pet as defined in the Agreement must be paid \*\* Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes. Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge. We've vacationed at Seabrook a lot with our goldendoodle Bailey and this is our favorite marsh-adjacent rental. The views--particularly at sunrise and sunset--are spectacular. And, the morning Bailey walk on the path across the street around the pond were amazing. Every morning we saw a bank of white egrets and ospreys still snoozing in the trees just before day break. As first time Seabrook visitors, the location was excellent and allowed us to have direct access to the Lake House for swimming (5 minute walk) and be within a short drive to multiple beach access points and the Island House and Ocean Club (each 10 minute drive). The property has four floors with some half-staircases, so it could be a bit tougher to watch small kids, but overall the stay was excellent and I would highly recommend it to others. ##### Devon M. I loved sitting on the screened in porch in the morning hours reading, drinking coffee, and watching the tide as it came in or went out. Over our two week stay we saw the dolphins feeding in the marsh a few times. Once from the neighborhood pier where the dolphins were just a few yards away! We (Husband and I) found the villa spacious and comfortable. Kitchen has many great items for preparing meals. The breakfast/dining area was a good spot for us to work an hour or so a day. It was nice having the washer dryer so that we could pack light as well as wash the bedding/towels a couple of times over the two weeks. Seabrook was quite and peaceful as always. We rode bikes daily to the beach or Freshfields or just around the island. Because Shelter Cove is close to the Seabrook entrance, it was easy to stay mostly on the designated bike path. We would definitely stay at Shelter Cove Villa again! ##### Nona S. We have found our new vacation location. Seabrook Island is nothing less than spectacular. The setting is relaxing, it is not commercial and it has everything you need for your get away! This particular unit has wonderful views of the marsh. My husband and boys went crabbing on the dock and I could watch them from the back screened in porch. Note there are a lot of stairs and we knew that renting this property. The layout worked our just fine for our family and it is dog friendly which was nice to bring our golden-doodle. The drawback is this property needs a deep cleaning. It seemed to have a stocked kitchen but we didn’t want to reorganize or even begin to unravel the cupboards jammed full of cooking items. We ended up eating out more than normal but that was our decision due to not want to clean this before using them. With COVID we were very surprised how unclean the property was. ##### Patti M. The Villa was decorated really cute and had all the necessities we needed to cook some meals and just to relax and spend quality time together as a family. One suggestion would be to have the property managers inspect the Villa for anything that needed replacing or cleaning following the winter season. There were a couple of lights out and on the back screened in porch a couple of the cushions had mold spots on them ; also a lampshade was coming a part due to the wind and weather. But the screened in porch was our favorite place to hang out. PS we really enjoyed the unique and beautiful pottery Items throughout the Villa! P.s.s. It would be an added bonus if the amenity cards were included in the rental fee. ##### Janice J.
