"This is an old-fashioned two-level motel, with outside stairs and a narrow catwalk to your second-floor room. It showed signs of wear, of course, but everything was neat and clean. The room was a nice surprise; the rug looked new and the beds were comfortable and attractive. There were no offensive odors and everything was clean. The biggest problem was that there wasn't much "everything". Room was pretty small, with no hair dryer, no coffee, no shelf in the bathroom, no phone to call the front desk, no ice machine; the internet was rated "slow" by my phone system. And we never did figure out how to change the heat (it was stuck on 65 F on a cold, rainy night) and the blanket was summer-weight. It was not miserable, just minimal."

"The house was awesome and Nick was a great host. The only thing that did throw me off was the listing stated the house sleeps 14. It actually has 5 bedrooms and has beds for 10 people with 2 queen blow up mattresses. Also, they have an awesome media room which is definately another bedroom if needed. This house is PERFECT, for a large family or group and location is PRIME!"

"Overall, the house was fine online and it looked the same as in person. The only thing that could be improved was we couldn’t use the heater on a cold rainy weekend. The windows didn’t close all the way, so a slight cold draft in the house wires weren’t covered and coming from walls and not every plug had a case over it"

"The view was gorgeous. They need to add some room darkening shades because you are facing east and the room never gets dark enough but ilove the Grand Victorian. "
