Good facilities and pleasant staff. Excellent breakfast choice. However there was clearly some kind of issue with the heating throughout the hotel on our first day the room was very cold however it was resolved the following day
Nice hotel although not particularly accessible to those who can’t walk very well. You either have lots of steps to walk up or have a long walk To get to the lift - in our case longer walk to the lift than going by the steps. The Highland Hotel has one lift that is not in the main building so you ...
Really enjoyed our stay. Great location on the Firth. Friendly and accommodating service. Restaurant was also great.
Arrived late at night to check in just before midnight. Unfortunately no one had advised night porter that I was still to check in and upon arrival couldn't find anyone to check in. Tried calling hotel and waited in reception for over fifteen minutes before night porter arrived. Not the NP's fault ...
A delightful place to stay. I picked it purely for the great price and convenient proximity to the airport, but I was hugely impressed with every aspect of my stay. Particularly the food served in the conservatory, which was exquisite. I'm planning to go back for a longer stay with my partner.
I was surprised at the size of the family room and think a lot of hotels should equal this. It stated 2 single beds for the kids but we were given bunked beds that proved to be rather uncomfortable. My kids complained that the springs kept poking them. The spa staff seemed helpful and lovely. Although ...
The hotel was convenient for the purpose of my one-day visit to Kingussie. An unusual and original layout, being a converted Croft. Single room comfortable and I'd rate it as adequate. Restaurant a bit canteen-ish but menu and cooking both fine.
I only had an overnight stay and breakfast, but it was okay for my requirements. The room was more than adequate in terms of size. The breakfast was excellent.

This beautiful part of Scotland is only a 30 minute drive from central Glasgow. And you'll find there are plenty of historical sites to get hitched in, including medieval castles, 18th century Baroque estates and traditional inns. Couples might choose to share nuptials near the shores of the many lochs that litter the area, or even hold the ceremony on a boat in Loch Lomond itself.
Inverness is often referred to as the Capital of the Highlands and is a gateway to some really popular wedding venues. Keep it modern in the city with a luxury hotel overlooking the River Ness or step back in time at Urquhart Castle or Dunrobin Castle. Another option is to exchange vows on the banks of Loch Ness - you never know, the mythical beast herself might turn up in the background of the wedding photos to make the occasion truly magical.
