We had a lovely stay at the Loch Ness Country House. Enjoyed the comfortable and cozy atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. Room was spacious and had charming. The ladies were so friendly and glad we chose to have dinner there along with the delicious breakfast.

The property was in a good location and the room was clean and generous. I didn't ask for a portable fan but there's no air-conditioning in the room. Windows open was sufficient to be comfortable. The location was nice and quiet and the well manicured landscaping was very nice.

This was a lovely place to stay. Our only complaint was the water in our room. Our shower regularly stopped working. We had to call the front desk and they would fix it but it was inconvenient.

We arrived late in the evening and the restaurant had already closed. The gentleman at the front desk went and arranged dinner for us with the chef. Service at this hotel was impeccable and much appreciated.

Lovely setting but the facilities have a bit if a tired, forlorn feeling. The lights did not all work in our romn, wifi was out for a day in the room. Staff was mixed, from the very friendly and helpful Graham, to some other desk staff that seemed withdrawn. Not the Scottish effusiveness that we’ve come to enjoy

When we arrived the staff at the front desk immediately checked us in and went out to the parking lot to help us with our bags. Our room was roomy. The bathroom was more like an unimproved old 1960's bathroom. Everything worked but was old. Dinner was excellent and the service prompt and friendly. Being far from road traffic we slept quite well. The location outside of Inverness was an asset on our passage to Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness since we did not need to deal with that mostly industrial city. And lastly the grounds were beautiful and relaxing.

Excellent location and property!
This is a beautiful property in an old hunting lodge built in 1710. Our room was spectacular with stunning views of the garden. The bar lounge area with fireplace was a delightful retreat at the end of the day and the delicious breakfast was a welcome start. Our two-night stay here was wonderful!

Stayed in the garden cottage as a stopover which was nice and quiet, think it needs a bit of updating and TLC, beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Clean, garden area was nice, breakfast was great and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely one of the friendliest staffs we have ever experienced at a hotel! And the place set just outside the city was a perfect relaxation place. And only $10 to get to city center. My family loved this place!

Lovely setting. Hotel has a lot of things going for it , however the plumbing needs attention. In both our rooms it was very difficult to get hot water to the wash basin. The menu stayed the same on both nights. They need to at least put a different special main course on each night. Food however was very good. Staff were excellent.

Why choose anywhere else? The hotel was very comfortable. The food was lovely and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. And so close to Inverness, but in the country.
