Close to the outdoor activities we had booked.

Dinner in bistro took an hour to arrive after ordering and with 3 young children this was not great. The hotel itself was good. Kids enjoying the swimming pool. Nice selection at breakfast we all ate well.

Great amenities

Posted 18-Sep-2016
Nice staff - lovely at check in especially. Food was excellent - loads of choice for the kids. Pool area was fab, large kids pool with separate adult pool (so the kids could swim about without disturbing the other guests). The bedroom was a little tired looking - window wouldn't open, handle fell off when we tried (although there was an air con machine). The hotel was good and I would definitely stay again. So many great things for kids to do on site, very family orientated.

Very good hotel for families, lots to do

Posted 28-Aug-2016
Don at check in very friendly and helpful, all waitresses v good, especially Vanessa. Breakfast superb. inverdrurie restaurant v Good. Dog friendly. Minor points - wiFi in rooms should be free nowadays, some lockers in swimming pool missing key pins and bit dirty one day, but cleaned the next day. Excellent stay, want to come back

Lots for kids to do, + entertainment for adults

Posted 12-Aug-2016
Pros: Great family hotel. Clean, comfortable. Buffet meals amazing! Close to other centres of interest.
Cons: Introduce ELEVATOR!! Increase portion size of chicken meal (to at least a full chicken breast).
Location: On road to Cairngorm Mtn (past Loch Morlich, sandy beach and water sports) 5 min drive from Aviemore; 1/2 hr drive to Inverness; gorgeous scenery.
Close to Aviemore and Cairngorm. Swimming pool, gym, indoor + outdoor kids play areas (great for rainy days, plus tea & coffee cheaper in soft play area!) Staff very helpful & friendly. Buffet meals were great; BUT some items on a la carte menu were TINY - our men were still very hungry after three courses! Evening entertainment in (huge) lounge was excellent - traditional Scottish group called "Tweed" one night was really great. We just could not understand why, with a ground floor and TWO upper floors, THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS/LIFTS???? Hotel was fully booked on both our nights there, so no upgrades available, but even "basic" rooms had plenty of storage space and comfy beds. Would go back!

Enclave precioso

Posted 08-Aug-2016

Lovely family hotel with lots to do close by

Posted 28-Jul-2016
Pros: It's very child friendly. Staff are always welcome and the location.
Cons: The food! The breakfast is great but there is very few options for vegetarians. I've been eating the same main meal for the past 4 or 5 years.
Location: That's why we go to this hotel for the lovely walks, beautiful scenery and for the many activities.
We have been going there every year for the last 6 years. Our daughters love going for the two swimming pools, massive softplay and swing park. Plus, there is lots to do close in and around Aviemore. It's great for both summer and winter.

Comfortable stay. Performing bands were excellent on each of the two nights of our stay.

stayed here to celebrate a 50th birthday. restaurant food was delicious but the service was shocking. wine took ages to come, was the wrong bottle when it came. staff didn't really speak English. we had 6 different people attend our table. no wifi in the room is shocking this day and age. not really a Hilton

Hilton Aviemore

Posted 30-Jun-2016
Pros: see experience.
Cons: see experience
Location: see experience
The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings, but what struck us that the required facilities as a wheelchair user were hardly available and not very adequate. Another negative point is that the beds were not very good either, for someone with spinal cord issues a very negative point. On the plus should be mentioned that the staff was ready and willing to help and that the restaurant was very good, but in general this hotel was the least of those we stayed in during our holidays in Scotland.
