Office closed when we got there . Handy man had to call owner and show us the room. Room was clean but old. Restaurant was under construction for dinner but we could breakfast in the morning

Appreciated help with luggage. Bed too small.
Front desk helpful. Food not so good. Parking not good - walking to room quite dangerous due to uneven pavement and lots of work trucks making parking difficult. Did not like the stairs especially coming down to an uneven step.

The property advertised an on-site restaurant and bar including pictures on the booking website. Booked the hotel on the basis that we could have an evening meal. There was only a cafe that had warm food until 1:00 pm. We could not have a warm evening meal.

Overall disappointed but happy with the basic room
No mention of winter hours when booking. We visited for business so we were up early and expecting breakfast but it didn’t open until 9am(1 hour after we had to be in work) so had to find breakfast elsewhere. Also, no mention of the restaurant being shut for the winter so had to find out evening meals at different locations. Reception didn’t open until 9am either so had to wait around to check out in the morning. Overall, disappointed but the room was as expected for the price.

Very convenient place to stay over when visiting. Staff were friendly. Plenty of options for shopping and eating on site and nearby. Room was a bit small but manageable. Would stay here again.

A nice stay (besides the neighbour)
We only stopped for one night as we were passing through. The room was ok, small but comfortable for the one night. We were travelling with our dog who is anxious so we chose to be in the Annex building, which we thought would be quieter. Sadly the person staying in the room next door was in & out constantly when we were settling in for fhe evening & kept slamming their door shut, which made the walls & door rattle of our room. So wasn't the relaxing evening we were after. It may have been the door as ours was a little stiff but we did try shut it slowly rather than slam it to be respectful to the other guests. The staff were really friendly & helpful when checking in & out.

Great staff
Excellent staff, so nice and accommodating. We did not get the room we reserved and then moved from the room located at the back of the parking area. The room we got was very small when we paid for a large room.

Didn't like there was no lift to upper floors. Elderly or people with limited mobility would struggle up the 3 sets of steps. Room doors would bang shut! Especially if families running in and out of each others rooms. Became intolerable after a time. Room maintenance required as shower hose twisted allowing on a small trickle of water to pass out of shower head. Cistern took 5 to 10mins to refill.

Great staff
All people working in the hotel were absolutely brilliant, very welcoming and helpful. Hotel could do with a bit of an upgrade (bathroom had some broken tiles, old furniture, single glazed windows with high condensation). Room felt too humid and I had to turn the heating on to dry clothes which soaked the humidity overnight. However, location is great and the friendliness of the staff compensated for the interiors.

Never again . Dependent on it being in a tourist area
If you want to step back to the 70's , this is the hotel for you . Wallpaper hanging from bathroom wall which has an olive green suite with pine bathpanel . Not sure what was on mirror in bedroom ( im hoping it was toothpaste ) Felt really sorry for the forgein visitors if they think this is what hotels are like over here . With the price they are charging ( breakfast extra with cheap ingredients ) they could afford to do the rooms up . Curtains hanging at an angle so dont stop sunlight in morning ! When checking in we was told we couldnt eat there as they had a party of 18 in ? Good job we phoned the local pub / restaurant as they were fully booked when we went down to eat . The staff were friendly but will not be returning . Photos on website must have been when it was new !

Friendliest place on the Loch
From the folks at reception to the staff in the bistro and lounge, they were all exceeding accomodating and friendly. Alex at the bar and cafe was always funny and very nice. Donald at reception was a complete gentleman and always smiling and even hooked us up for another night we decided to stay as we were enjoying ourselves so much. Emily (I think her name was, might be off a bit) was also charming. Just a lovely time reallly. Even the clientelle were nice and we met great folks there as well!

Lovely Scotland
My stay was very good, my room was in a annexe. It was comfortable, clean. The bathroom had both a bath & a shower. The restaurant itself was nice & the food enjoyable & reasonnably priced. It is situated in a quiet cul de sac, & it was just great to leave the window open & hear silence. I really enjoy my stay. There was enough to do near by & nice walk to make. I would go back.

Nicest front desk
The front desk was literally the nicest people in the world. Cute little location. If you're doing a road trip coming from Inverness, the little town is about another .5 miles further--don't miss it. Nice room. Great water pressure.

Very comfortable room. Shame about evening dining! Told on checking in we could eat in the Bistro but when we went down later we were turned away saying there was a private party and no tables for an hour, no warning previously, no signs to indicate.

• Good location - super easy to explore the locality whilst on NC500 • Good powerful shower • Room was pretty warm • Great breakfast bap in the restaurant the next morning (had to pay for this extra) • we stayed in room 7, in the building it could’ve done with a bit of a dust and deep clean

No fan in bathroom
There was no fan in the bathroom, even the door had a warning saying to close the door whilst taking a shower (presumably to avoid the smoke alarm going off). There were obvious damage to the bathroom floor and both window cills because of the damp environment. We opened the window, but it had little effect because it was also damp outside due to the rain. Not pleasant, but ok for one night. Other than that the room was very quiet and the bed was ok+. The pressure in the shower was very good.

The accomodation is in need of updating. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Could someone please tell the manager or team leader that he should remember to close the door when he is berating his staff,using foul language that would make Gordon Ramsay blush. We could here him quite clearly cursing,swearing and threatening people with dismissal,as we climbed the stairs to our room. Very unprofessional behaviour to say the least.

Easter in Drumnadrochit
A spontaneous dècision to take a break resulted in our stay at this hotel. Delicious breakfasts, comfortable, relaxed. Just what we neèded. Able to visit friends locally, but one has to be alert to the deer and wild boar that cross the roads at night. A visit to Urquart castle was fascinating and great for photo shoots. The Loch Ness Exhibition Centre a definite must for Nessie fans, families and Kids. The Drumnadrochit hotel has a large gift shop, whisky shop, Nessie shop, restaurant and bar and outdoor eating area, for those travellers short of time, a large selection of shops nearby in the village itself. Trips can be booked for tours on Loch Ness. There is lots to do and explore or you can just relax.
