This is not an OYO property anymore but OYO did not let us know. The new owners Frank and Lisa were lovely and helped us much as they could, Expedia was also helpful in relocating us as there was no room at their inn. Literally! If you are looking for a property that is convenient to Inverness city and welcoming then this is perfect for you. We wish we could have stayed.

Welcoming hosts and great location
Really friendly hosts who let us in despite arriving early which was most welcome as we were rather cold and wet. They even put the heating on for us. We were allowed to store our bikes securely in the entrance hall. Great and copious breakfast which kept us going on our bikes all the way to Wick.

a lovely one njght stay
lovely couple that own it and a very nice breakie, they catured to my mates vegetarianism very well, I'll little bit jealous of how good his looked and smelled. They recommended a really good chippie as well, didnt disapoint one bit

Lovely, friendly hosts, couldn't do enough for us, we turned up 2 hours before check in and they went out of their way to get our room ready. Nice guest house too, full of character.

Lovely place in capital of Highlands
Absolutely lovely stay here. We had great time in Inverness and around in general due to fantastic early June weather, but staying in Cedar Villa only added to our great experience of Highlands. The owners were very friendly, helpful, gave us great advice on local trips and made sure we felt like at home. If we will ever return to Inverness we will certainly stay there again.

We were served a lovely hot breakfast in the morning. The facility is a bit old-fashioned which does add to the charm, but just be prepared that it is not state-of-the-arc. We rang the bell 3 times (and could hear it ringing inside the house), but in the end had to call and let them know we were outside the door. Thankfully, we had a phone that worked. Reception in the Inverness area isn't always stable.

I wish to complain about Cedar Villa Guest house in Inverness, Scotland. Having booked for two nights and received no a cess information from the property I telephoned them as soon as I arrived in Inverness at 1845 to receive an answer machine; I left a message asking for entry info. In the next 30 minutes I rang another three tines and each time received a recorded message. I then walked 10 minutes across Inverness to the property and for the next 15 minutes rang both of their bells continuously...it was bitterly cold! Finally in anger I kicked the door and eventually the owners came (with headphones on!) and said rhey would not have me to stay as I kicked the door.....they refunded me what I had paid and I was forced to find alternative accommodation on a bitterly cold night at a higher cost. I now wish the difference in cist to be refunded by Hotels.com and the property removed from your site since the owners are failing to provide an acceptable service. If they know that they have booked guests arriving I consider it is their responsibility to have a means of being contactable and of receiving them.
