"Espresso machine in room would be nice. Instead of powdered creamer, add the small liquid creamer pods. Some areas on the streets were clean and some had a lot of poor people wondering around, especially where the train station was, so safety becomes an issue. It’s good to see the amount of police in the downtown area patrolling."

"overall, we had a good stay at the hotel. pros: - location is good in terms of proximity to main sights, we were mostly walking around the city - rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean - we arrived a couple hours earlier but our rooms were ready and we were checked in early with no problem. cons: - location is close to homeless shelter so there’re lots of homeless around the hotel. we personally didn’t have any unpleasant encounters but that’s still not the safest experience - when I tried calling the hotel in the morning of our check-in day to inquire about early parking availability, the call didn’t go through (I tried 2 different phones). After the check-in I tried calling the reception from our rooms twice and never got the reply either - no slippers available for the guests (minor thing, but a must-have for my mom, so we were a bit frustrated by that) - we stayed at a studio suite that included a small kitchen, and the fridge there would make really loud noises from time to time that disturbed our sleep sometimes. same thing about the AC - it was quite loud when it’s working - the main thing that frustrated us was that the key cards to the rooms never worked on the 1st try. I had to press it around 4 times on average before it opened the door, and once it took 11 tries. it was really annoying, especially after a long day. so overall, it was a good hotel experience, but the minor flaws summed up to be pretty frustrating."
