8.8/10 Excellent! (256 reviews)
Great property in an outstanding location near an entrance to the Matera Sassi. Clean rooms and comfortable beds were nice to stay in.
In addition to the Sassi access and hotel cleanliness, the breakfast was truly outstanding. It featured a variety of coffees, pastries and fruits along with other breakfast items in an attractive, large dining room.
The desk is attended at all times and the building is secured at night.
My only mild criticism is better information on parking prior to check in would be a plus. A secured garage is under the hotel and available for $20 Euro per might.
I'd stay there again, both for the hotel and the ancient attractions of Matera.

"The room was a nice size but there was a lot of noise from in-house shows late at night. My fiancé and I both ended up with bed bug bites all over our bodies. Pillow was not comfortable.
