Wanted to drop into Chicago to see the renos at Wrigley Field and to watch some baseball. Prices this week were crazy downtown so picked the Quality Inn Schaumburg for a reasonable price and next to the transportation hub with express service to Wrigley for Cubs games for $8 return. Cheaper than parking. Warm greeting on arrival, helpful with suggestions, room was large, newly remodeled and very clean. Breakfast was a good selection with a large room. Bonus was Happy Hour in the breakfast room with munchies and some free drinks. Overall a great experience and we would do it again in a minute. Warning though, lots of good shopping closeby and that cost me a few extra bucks but kept my better half happy!
Thanks to Expedia I got an amazing rate and this gorgeous hotel and it was nothing shy of fabulous. You can see the skyline off in a distance and it's just enough out of the city that traffic isn't bad at all. I will definitely stay here again for my next visit to Chicago.
"Mostly Good. Should not advertise free breakfast."
Generally clean and tidy. Understaffed. The desk clerk had to leave the front desk constantly to deal with room issues. Just ONE staff person on duty at a time to deal with everything. Made check-in and out slow.
Very quiet. Reasonable price. Breakfast was a JOKE. Coffee, granola bars, prepackaged muffins, and apples. That's it. No juice, milk or anything else. Not even toast.
We booked this hotel through Expedia.ca. It was very nice and the staff at front desk were awesome. It was close to shopping. Breakfast in the morning was awesome. I did not go to the gym or pool so can't comment. Overall I will stay in this hotel over and over.
