"awful place. We ended up here because accommodation in Cuacos was sold out. In hindsight we should have continued on to Plasencia. Room above a bar. When we stayed here the bar was closed, not sure if that was good or bad, as it meant no food (hardly anywhere in town) but also no noise. Room is very basic and not clean at all!"

"Absolute top Empfehlung! Wenn Sie auf dem Weg zwischen Salamanca und Cáceres einen Übernachtungsstopp machen: auf jeden Fall hier! Und wenn Sie eigentlich nicht übernachten wollten...tun Sie es - es lohnt sich! Malpartida ist ein großes Dorf, etwa 10 Autominuten von Plasencia entfernt. Das Hostal liegt mitten im Zentrum, aber einen kostenlosen Parkplatz findet man schon in der Nähe. Der Empfang durch Ruth und Eduardo war unglaublich warmherzig und freundlich. Hotel 4* Parque de Monfragüe

8/10 Good

"Lovely location and ideal for stopping off for the Monfrague National Park with lovely views. The room was great and clean. Perhaps it was too early in the season but the general areas outside could do with sprucing up. The food in the evening was fantastic. The breakfast was okay but not to the same standard. A shame the pool is out of action. "
